Sorry To MIA

It has been a busy few days, and I have not had time to even post, I miss chatting in my blog, and I tend to rattle on at times, and this is one of those times.
Thursday we left just as the sun was coming up, for Jacksonville, FL it is about an hour and 20 minute drive from where we live here in Southern GA, I have a ladies group online, Called Barbara's Blessings, one of the ladies husband had a tumor on his brain, they were going to remove it at Mayo Clinic that day, so my husband and I went down to be with them and to pray with him before his surgery. He had the surgery, and they found the tumor was on the brain stem so was unable to do a biopsy or remove it, they do not think it is malignant though. They did put a shunt in and made a different way for the fluids to run off the brain, instead into the brain, it was causing him to have the water on the brain, so he is in ICU still recovering, and doing better each day, if you will please pray for James Ruddy and his dear wife Anna, they are from Northern GA and have came this way especially for his surgery.
It has been a joy to meet them, and to pray with them, and to be an encouragement to them, God puts people in our path that we may help, and be a comfort to, we need to count it all joy to help others, and be help to them in their time of need.
Far to many times we look the other way, and think oh someone else will help them, but you know we have found that most times no one else does help, if God touches your heart to help someone you need to listen to him, and obey his calling.
God gives us friends in our life to encourage us, when there are times we need a friendly hello, or a hug, or just a kind word from someone, let us be tender hearted and aware of the Holy Spirit as he deals with our hearts. I want to be open to God's leading in all circumstances, and I want to be a help to others, and for them to see Christ in me. I really feel we are left here on earth after we are saved, to be a console and encouragement to the body of Christ, and to be a light in this very dark world, and to be a witness to them about what God has did in our life, and how Christ changed us after salvation, may we always see there is a need to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ, if we pray daily, and ask God to put someone in need in our path that we can help, he will, he is just and faithful to his word, and his word says God is the same yesterday, today and forever, so even though times are changing, God is still the same, and he will stay the same, let us lean on him, and draw all our strength from him.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend, and Tomorrow go and worship our living Saviour, and spend time in prayer, and be ye filled with the Holy Spirit of God. God bless you.

What a great testimony and blessing you are. I'm sure your friends were blessed so much by your love and care the day of the surgery.

God bless you too.
