HAPPY TERRIFIC TUESDAY

This is true Love...

You know my dear husband and I have been married 49 years, the better part of my life, I can hardly remember before we were married. Now that is a special love, we were very young and every one told us it would not last, that we were too young to know true love, well not sure if it will last or not, but we got a good 49 years in any how. LOL  Doncha love it when you are right.  We had plenty of ups and downs, but God prevailed in our marriage and give us a long life together. But your know our love for each other is nothing compared to the love Christ has for us.
1John 3:16  Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
God says we have his love in us, and we prove it by loving the brethren, now I do not think any one is going to ask us to lay down our life for them, but we have to be willing none the less, that they may know we are the sons of God.
1John 3:2  Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
God gives us rules to live by, he has a whole book that shows us exactly how to live our life, that we may be happy, and we may bring honor to him.
Luke 11:42  But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
John 8:42  Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
Let us love God, and let us love our neighbor, and let us love the brethren as ourself.
Rom 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Our 49th will be next May. We were just 20, ahhhh so young and we thought we knew. Children, grands and great-grands -- how much we've learned through these years. How could we have foreseen what God had in store for us and for them. Yet -- this is but the tiniest beginning of the Story to be told. Isn't it grand?

that is wonderful Grammy Blick, we do not see too many been married this long, I praise God for keeping my marriage together, and I know you will give him the glory too. God bless you and thank you for stopping by to visit with me.
Lots of hugs,
