Waiting on Spring

Well I am all ready for Spring, even though it was 26 degrees
this morning, I am in the South so not expecting it to be this cold.
When Spring comes we are getting chickens, my dh has been building
this portable chicken coop, needs more paint and the fencing then
we will be ready to get them.
I love fresh eggs, and I bake really often and use many eggs so it
will be super to have fresh eggs, corn fed chickens are gret, I did have
them once before, but something killed them all, that is why this time it
will all be fenced in.
Well hope your weekend is a fabulous one, we want finish the coop,
then of course Sunday will be church, and we do not do much on Sunday.
So my dear friends, enjoy this biscuits I made just for you, and join me
again real soon.

Hi sweet friend,
Your bicuits look yummy! My husband and I have been thinking about getting a few chickens as well. We have an auction here in March that offers chickens, goats, ducks and bunnies.
What would be better than fresh eggs!!!
Have a great weekend.

Yum! I would love to have one of your biscuits with some fresh honey! My Son has a few chickens and some guinea hens. I laughed every time I saw the guinea hens. They are so comical. They use them to eat ticks out of the yard. Right now my son has two many roosters. LOL. They are brazen little guys, :) Have a restful weekend. Dee

I live in the south too, NC, and am also ready for spring! Yum, your biscuits look so good. I only eat whole wheat toast. I remember my Daddy cooking milky gravy. That was our special breakfast, gravy on toast.

Our daughter has chickens in a walk-in pen she and her father built. We've learned a lot over the last five years and loved having fresh eggs available. But last spring some THING found a way in a slaughtered. We will begin again this spring, too.

There's nothing better than hot bread and butter. Biscuits make it so quick and easy!
