THANKFUL THURSDAY

Modern Sayings found in the old 1611 King James Bible
The words and phrases of this "old book" are woven through the fabric of our lives and our Country. The laws of our land are based on it. Many scientific laws and medical principals were stated in it long before they were "recently discovered". In olden days they actually taught from the bible, now they want us to not even carry one to school. I hope you find this as interesting as I did, and it is just one more thing I am thankful for.

This is interesting! I know I come across a saying once in a while that catches my attention.
I have read the Bible all my life and still comes across a word or saying thqat sticks out. That is what is so amazing about the Bible.
Thanks for sharing this. have a good day.

If only there can be as many examples of the Bible in our everyday actions as in our speech...

This is an excellent study! Of course we're going to use this in so many ways. Next school year, Texas schools are supposed to be able to teach the Bible as literature. This would be an excellent tool in that class, wouldn't it?
