          THANKFUL THURSDAY

Good Morning, I hope you are happy and healthy on this Thursday morning, the 3 day of June, wow, it is here, summer, staying in the 90's, lol, feels really good though, and perhaps I can take a dip now, hope the water is warmed, it seems to take very much heat to warm that thing.

Today is a day to think on the things we are thankful for, please feel free to share what you are thankful for here in this post too, I love seeing how the lord blesses each of you, where you are and in the ways that mean the most to you.

This photo I took yesterday in our flower bed, isn't it gorgeous, reminds of the little Book Linda A dear friend wrote, "Don't Pet The Cactus", lol there are several more blooms on this and it is a blessing to see. We dug this Cactus up when my children were small, had it in Jacksonville, for years, and brought it with us up here to Georgia, so to see it still thriving and blooming yearly, does my heart good, I have a little piece of the state of Florida here.

I often wonder why do I love Florida like I do, we have been around the Country and some very beautiful places we have lived. I am originally from Michigan, so why is Florida my hearts desire? Well my Barbology tells me it is because I was saved in Florida, so lost and undone, and on my way to a Devil's hell, then we moved to Florida and that is where I accepted Jesus Christ as my very own Saviour. When ever I go back to think of the day I was saved, it was in our little home there in Florida, I guess I will never forget it, or ever loose my love for Florida. Most of my children are still there, and that keeps an important binding tie too.

So I am so thankful for God leading us to Florida, for God saving this girl out of misery and sin, and for God keeping me saved, and giving me a deep desire to serve and worship him in my everyday life, the best way I can share him here at home is online, I come in contact with so many online daily, gives me a chance to share my Jesus with all. To tell of my faith, and who my faith is put in.

Hope your Thankful Thursday gives you much to be thankful for, the Revival is again tonight and I am ready once again to go get my cup filled. God bless you all real good, and have blessed day.

Rom 1:8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.

1Cr 1:4  I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;

Phl 1:3  I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,

Oh yeah I do have so very much to be thankful for. So Lots of Hugs,

I grew up in Florida too (we also lived in GA for seven years during hubby's military career)! I was raised in Palm Beach...unlike you, though, I have no desire to go back. For me, it has much to do with my spiritual heart as well...I feel "at home" here in Huntsville, Alabama, where my family was the strongest in the Lord for generations before me and where hubby and I were mentored by some wonderful Christians over the years. Funny how that works, isn't it?

Thanks for your comments on my blog, I do appreciate your input and your visits!

I am thankful for so many things....First and foremost my salvation and my wonderful husband who has taken *fantastic* care of me during my back troubles. And I'm thankful for the lessons learned during this difficult physical trial.

I am also thankful for the kind and gracious comments you always leave for me on my blog. (o:

Many Blessings!

You know Barbara, I wish we lived closer to each other! I think we could be real good face-to-face friends! That being said, I am thankful that one day, perhaps very soon from the looks of things in this world, we SHALL meet, in our heavenly home!

thank you all for the sweet endearing comments, I have made some fabulous friends through the blogs, and I love each of you, and look forward daily to reading how God has blessed you.
Kris I grew up in MI and God moved us to Fl where we were saved, so it forever holds a place in my heart.
Thanks again all, and if any of you get down my way, holler, send me an email and let me know, and I will have the iced tea cold.. Hugs

I spend a lot of time praying and asking God for many things, not for me for others. I pray hard for my Nephew in Afghanistan and for the health and well being of family members. Today, I took two of my grandchildren to swimming lessons and sat outside the gate, listening to the teacher telling them "awesome" and "great job"! The sky was blue, the clouds were puffy white and I was sitting on a blanket ALL by myself. I spent that entire time with my eyes to the sky "Thanking God for all he has done and for prayers answered"! Have a blessed day and being thankful is great! HUGS!

AMEN Barb...it's one week today THURSDAY that the three new grandbabies were born! And I thanked the LORD again today for last weeks blessings..that will be with us now for many more.

What a joy to read about your love for the place of remembrance of your salvation! Truly these moments never leave us! I can't say that I love the place of my salvation.. (a dark road late at night after a car wreck!) BUT..am thankful for the TIME...as it truly opened my eyes and heart to my great need!

Thank you for sharing this today!
