Marvellous Monday Morning

Hello friends, I did not get here very much yesterday, it was so very busy. My day started with getting ready for church, and getting my food together to take with us for dinner after wards. "Sirloin Roast, Potatoes and fresh carrots cooked in the roast, made the gravy at time of eating, it was so good, and so done, and it all disappeared very quickly.
It was a wonderful day in the house of the lord, we had 5 saved this weekend already, Chuck (my husband) led a lady to the lord Saturday on visitation, and 4 more were saved during the two services yesterday, WOW..  God is moving greatly in the midst of the people here; I have not seen it like this in many a years. The out pouring of the Holy Spirit, it used to be every service, a few were saved, but these days it is rare to see them, so all these saved lately is such a treat for us all. We just give God the Glory for all he is doing in our little church in Folkston, Georgia.

We had our photos taken before dinner yesterday too, for our new membership books, they came out really nice, wish I could get a copy of them some way, perhaps, we will see.

Dinner was good, so much food, then home to take a nap, I had a good nap, and got very refreshed for the evening service,  so glad I did too, last night service lasted til after 9 pm, wow.. it ended about 8:15 but just kept going,  some giving testimonies, and then some of our teens sang, it just was a wonderful day in the lord,.

We started our Revival yesterday too, so such a great kick off for sure, I am excited about what will happen this evening, amen. I love being in the midst of all this Holy Ghost moving, blesses my heart.

I pray I will be well enough to go each evening, I sure was tired yesterday, but did make all services, so I was a happy tired.

Hope you have a great day today, and share your service events with us too, let us know how the lord is working in your church. I love to see how God is working all over the world, I have a friend in England, and they see souls saved every service. We had 66 attendance yesterday too, that is 25 more than last week, amen. So I say just keep blessing Lord, and we will keep giving you the honor and all the glory for all you are doing in these last days, pouring out your blessed Holy Spirit, and giving people another chance to become your child.

Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

That wonderful Holy Ghost is still touching hearts and saving souls, Praise God he is so Good..

Yes, God is good! We have a similar size church too. This weekend we had a young couple get married. We have know the groom since he was a boy. So nice to see them following the LORD, especially after times when they were in rebellion.

Barbara, i know exactly what you mean about God moving in the midst f His people. we have been having a revival spirit for several months now. We just never know what the Lord is going to do next. souls are being saved and baptized. New people come every week and get saved. then they are back the next service. We have no idea what the Lord is going to do next. But the main thing is that the people are in one accord. For a church that runs 345-383 that is a miracle in itself. I know some of the people have never seen God move like He is moving now.
I do hope you get to go to your revival. Love you, Sis

What a blessing to see five souls walk from their old life into the light of His. May they come to know Him as we do, so much more to come than the day we accepted His gift of salvation. Such a grand relationship awaits them as they read His word and fellowship with His family. Thanks for sharing!!

Wonderful news Barbara. It is so good to see you up and out. A man I led to the Lord 4 years ago died recently . I was so thankful he got saved when he did. He was 80 years old. It is never too late to come to Jesus.
Hugs,
Elizabeth
