Saturday Collage

The project we finished last evening, getting our bags
filled for the kids Sunday, we will have a little Christmas program for them, then give
out these little bags of goodies,
I know they will love it.

The wonderful love of my life ready to bite into some corn, we hand picked it last Spring, and it is still delicious, just remove from the Freezer and wal-la we have fresh corn on the cob.

What is in a name?
Isa 9:6 "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace".

There is so very much in a name if that name is Jesus. We could add and add to those list of names for Jesus also, he is my beloved, he is my everlasting, he is my Saviour and He is my best friend. Have a very blessed Saturday.

I hope y'all are having a great month! It's hard to believe Christmas is just one week away.

Combine milk, cloves, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, and cinnamon in a saucepan, and heat over lowest setting for 5 minutes. Slowly bring milk mixture to a boil.
2.In a large bowl, combine egg yolks and sugar. Whisk together until fluffy. Whisk hot milk mixture slowly into the eggs. Pour mixture into saucepan. Those kids must love getting those bags. What a nice thing to do!
I always wanted to make eggnog, but am afraid I won't cook the eggs in it enough. One of these days I will have to give it a try. Enjoy your Christmas program :)

The kids will love getting those bags, I am sure! I saw something else of interest in that first photograph -- the lighthouse in the corner. I have a similar lighthouse that was given to me by an exchange student. Does the top of your lighthouse hold a candle?

Yes Linda that lighthouse does hold a candle, my dh collects light houses, just as I collect roosters he collects the light houses, I need to photo them and share them on here one day, some are really gorgeous, some are Thomas Kinkaid too, hugs and you are very observent. Hugs my friend
