Well another week has come and is almost gone, this week has been a really great one for us, the Revival has stirred my soul and enlightened me to many faults I have, praise God I am never too old to learn, or to change and try to better myself for God's Glory, it has been good, and I kinda hate to see it end. But what we have in our heart will never end. I just love the book of Romans, we call Romans 8 the Roses of Romans, and oh such wonderful sweet fragrance comes from these verses too. It is one of the most helpful chapters in the word of God. This verse has helped me so very much in my every day life.
Romans 8:13 "For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live."
If I were too look at my life from a human standpoint, it would be very discouraging, but the grace of God is most definitely sufficient, I have proven him over and over again, I am not able to do all the things I once did, and I am so slow a snail could beat me in a race. But I honestly try to live in the faith and not under the circumstances, look at so many, they let pain get them down to where the cannot even look up, go into deep depression, that is very easy to do too by the way, but if we look to Christ he will keep us in perfect peace, as we go through our daily living, we need to keep our eyes on Jesus, keep our faith in him, keep our trust in him, he will keep us, he has promised us this in his word.
The scripture says that “Without weakening in his faith, he (Abraham) faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.” I am here to tell you God always does what he promises, you can find these little promises all through the bible, seek them out, claim them, and usually there is a condition for these promises, but it is nothing we are not capable of doing, lets all surrender our will to his will, and what a witness we can be to our Lord and Saviour as we give praise and glory to God, even through our pain, even through our own weaknesses, then he can make us strong, in our physical bodies, and in our minds and in our spiritual faith.
God bless you, and look to Jesus, he is the great Physician, he is the saver of the soul, he is my all and all.
I do love this song: Makes my heart soar.
LIVING BY FAITH I care not today what the morrow may bring,
If shadow or sunshine or rain, The Lord I know ruleth o’er everything, And all of my worries are vain.
Refrain: Living by faith in Jesus above, Trusting, confiding in His great love; From all harm safe in His sheltering arm, I’m living by faith and feel no alarm.
Though tempests may blow and the storm clouds arise, Obscuring the brightness of life, I’m never alarmed at the overcast skies— The Master looks on at the strife.
I know that He safely will carry me through, No matter what evils betide; Why should I then care though the tempest may blow, If Jesus walks close to my side.
Our Lord will return for His loved ones some day, Our troubles will then all be o’er; The Master so gently will lead us away, Beyond that blest heavenly shore.
Good Morning, I hope you are happy and healthy on this Thursday morning, the 3 day of June, wow, it is here, summer, staying in the 90's, lol, feels really good though, and perhaps I can take a dip now, hope the water is warmed, it seems to take very much heat to warm that thing.
Today is a day to think on the things we are thankful for, please feel free to share what you are thankful for here in this post too, I love seeing how the lord blesses each of you, where you are and in the ways that mean the most to you.
This photo I took yesterday in our flower bed, isn't it gorgeous, reminds of the little Book Linda A dear friend wrote, "Don't Pet The Cactus", lol there are several more blooms on this and it is a blessing to see. We dug this Cactus up when my children were small, had it in Jacksonville, for years, and brought it with us up here to Georgia, so to see it still thriving and blooming yearly, does my heart good, I have a little piece of the state of Florida here.
I often wonder why do I love Florida like I do, we have been around the Country and some very beautiful places we have lived. I am originally from Michigan, so why is Florida my hearts desire? Well my Barbology tells me it is because I was saved in Florida, so lost and undone, and on my way to a Devil's hell, then we moved to Florida and that is where I accepted Jesus Christ as my very own Saviour. When ever I go back to think of the day I was saved, it was in our little home there in Florida, I guess I will never forget it, or ever loose my love for Florida. Most of my children are still there, and that keeps an important binding tie too.
So I am so thankful for God leading us to Florida, for God saving this girl out of misery and sin, and for God keeping me saved, and giving me a deep desire to serve and worship him in my everyday life, the best way I can share him here at home is online, I come in contact with so many online daily, gives me a chance to share my Jesus with all. To tell of my faith, and who my faith is put in.
Hope your Thankful Thursday gives you much to be thankful for, the Revival is again tonight and I am ready once again to go get my cup filled. God bless you all real good, and have blessed day.
Rom 1:8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.
1Cr 1:4 I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;
Phl 1:3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
Oh yeah I do have so very much to be thankful for. So Lots of Hugs,
Top of the day to you, and it is a Wonderful Wednesday indeed, the sun is shining and it will reach 92° here in Sunny Georgia today, our tomato plants are growing wild, and the squash too, wow we will be getting some fresh off the vine soon. Will be going to Waycross to pick some tomatoes in about another week, going to get them and blanche and freeze enough so I have them all year, I can make diced tomatoes and then make home made spaghetti sauce too, oh I love the thought. It is so good, and we do eat quite a bit of things with tomatoes in them. At least once a week, so I figured two cans of diced tomatoes are about 1.50 for them, multiply that by 52 weeks, and that is 78 dollars I will be saving, Upick tomatoes are 6 dollars a 5 gallon bucket, oh yeah...
So that is the plan.
Well tonight we will go to our own church, and honestly I will miss the excitement of the other Revival, but right is right, and we do belong in our place of worship.
But tomorrow night we will be back at that Revival and getting our long over due cup and saucer filled and running over, oh gives me glory bumps thinking of it. The mesages are really needed, and ones I have not heard in so long. So have a great time in your place of Worship, and lets all thank God that we still can go with out any hassel, and worship the lord freely and openly, Praise God, I do not know how long that will be possible, but for now we can, God bless you all real good, and get your cup filled tonight.
Jeremiah 22:1-3 "Thus saith the LORD; Go down to the house of the king of Judah, and speak there this word, And say, Hear the word of the LORD, O king of Judah, that sittest upon the throne of David, thou, and thy servants, and thy people that enter in by these gates: Thus saith the LORD; Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place."
These verses about Jeremiah got me thinking about a couple of things. The first was that in the time that Jeremiah was confined in the courtyard, God had things for him to do – He hadn’t forgotten about Jeremiah, or didn’t see him as unable to do anything worthwhile. God reminded Jeremiah again that He was the God who formed the world and that He was there with Him. It was part of God’s plan for Jeremiah that he be there, confined in the courtyard, so he would be there when God needed him. The second thing that occurred to me, was that God says to Jeremiah that He is there and will answer when Jeremiah calls to Him – but not only that, God will teach him things that he does not know. It sounds like things that Jeremiah could not necessarily find out on his own, unless they were revealed to him by God. God still has uses for us, ways that we can make a difference in the life of someone else. Let us use our God given talents for him, for his glory and for his honor, he saved us to tell others, to help others, and to be a witness for him all over the world. Speak up and be heard, he will give you the words to say. I’m encouraged that if I look to God, He will continue to teach me and help me learn from it.

Memorial Day, which falls on the last Monday of May, commemorates the men and women who died while serving in the American military. Originally known as Decoration Day, it originated in the years following the Civil War and became an official federal holiday in 1971. Many Americans observe Memorial Day by visiting cemeteries or memorials, holding family gatherings and participating in parades. Unofficially, at least, it marks the beginning of summer.
Happy Memorial Day my friends; I am Praying For Our Military and Their Families on this Memorial Day;this is a day when we honor those men and women who died while serving in the United States military service. Many laid down their life that we can live in a free Country, let us pray faithfully daily for those and their ...families, what a sacrifice they make. God bless you, and oh Lord God bless America, and we know how to get America to be blessed Again, God has a plan; 2 Chronilcles 2:14 "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
I hope you all have a safe and fun day, remember any free gift comes with a price.
