*So Excited*

It is beastly hot here, still 96 at 6:30 PM .  I have been out watering all our plants, I have a lily blooming the first time since we moved it from Jacksonville, 13 years ago, go figure, I am going to take a photo it may be the only one I ever get, heehee, I had my driveway lined with them, dug them up and bought them here, I have them all over, but they have never bloomed here til now, so it will be a treat seeing them. My Chickens are loose in the large pen, fed and watered, and I have a load of white clothes almost done drying, been a busy bee. Been a pretty ordinary day here, what is it like in your neck of the woods, and how hot is it. So here are the photos I took earlier of my blooms, also I have lots of Cocks Combs coming up from seeds, really cool plants, with the fuzzy leaves on the, one of them is shown in that photo on my side by.

This is Hanging on our front door, it always reminds that love starts at home, we must treat our family with the same love and respect as we do our friends and acquaintances.
They are what God has given us, how can we not show them true unconditional love.
I think of times when my children were young,  and how I did not always give them a fair
chance in explaining, I just jumped to conclusion, this is wrong, if you children are
still home give them the opportunity to show you what is going on, then with wisdom and fair judgement weigh the situation. That is how our loving heavenly father does with us. We have a heavenly father above who cares for us with so much love here are a few words to Consider the Lilies, it really fits here. So let us be more like our heavenly Father, and love our own, remember love does start in the home.

We have a heavenly father above
With eyes full of mercy
And a heart full of love
He really cares when
Your head is bowed low
Consider the lilies
And then you will know

Father:A distinctive New Testament revelation is that through faith in Christ, God becomes our personal Father. Father is used of God in the Old Testament only 15 times while it is used of God 245 times in the New Testament. As a name of God, it stresses God’s loving care, provision, discipline, and the way we are to address God in prayer (Matt. 7:11; Jam. 1:17; Heb. 12:5-11; John 15:16; 16:23; Eph. 2:18; 3:15; 1 Thess. 3:11). I love the name Jehovah Jireh, he is my great provider, God is love. 1 John 4:8

Favorite Friday Foto

I love my hens, they strut they fly they just are amazing to watch, here are some favorite photos I took recently of them out playing, hope you enjoy them, and down father is a little Fairy Tale.
This is Martha, she is always busy...

This is Esther, she rules the roost, and strikes a pose

These are my twins, Mary and Ruth, almost always together

So that is my family of hens, they are growing daily and eating lots of grain, each one is laying now too, this keeps me happy and in eggs, nothing worse than store bought eggs, nothing like having the real thing.  So here are my ladies, and I hope you have enjoyed seeing our family hens up close
and personal. Every time I see them, I think of the story Henny Penny, the sky is falling the sky
is falling, remember that kids story?  Okay I actually found it online, so just for fun, sit back a read all about Henny Penny.
The Sky Is Falling
Once upon a time there was a tiny, tiny chicken named Chicken Little. One day Chicken Little was scratching in the garden when something fell on her head.

"Oh," cried Chicken Little, "the sky is falling. I must go tell the king."
So Chicken Little ran and ran, and she met Henny Penny.
"Where do you travel so fast, Chicken Little?" asked Henny Penny.
"Ah, Henny Penny," said Chicken Little, "the sky is falling, and I must go and tell the king."
"How do you know that the sky is falling, Chicken Little?" asked Henny Penny.
"I saw it with my eyes, I heard it with my ears, and a bit of it fell on my head," said Chicken Little.
"I will go with you to the king," said Henny Penny.

So they ran along together, and they met Ducky Daddles.
"Where do you travel so fast?" asked Ducky Daddles.
"Ah, Ducky Daddles," said Chicken Little, "the sky is falling, and Henny Penny and I go to tell the king."
"How do you know that the sky is falling, Chicken Little?" asked Ducky Daddles.
"I saw it with my eyes, I heard it with my ears, and a bit of it fell on my head," said Chicken Little.
"I will go with you to the king," said Ducky Daddles.

So they ran along together, and they met Goosey Loosey.
"Where do you travel so fast, Chicken Little?" asked Goosey Loosey.
"Ah, Goosey Loosey," said Chicken Little, "the sky is falling. Henny Penny and Ducky Daddles and I go to tell the king."
"How do you know that the sky is falling, Chicken Little?" asked Goosey Loosey.
"I saw it with my eyes, I heard it with my ears, and a bit of it fell on my head," said Chicken Little.
"I will go with you," said Goosey Loosey.

So they ran along together, and they met Turkey Lurkey.
"Where do you travel so fast, Chicken Little?" asked Turkey Lurkey.
"Ah, Turkey Lurkey," said Chicken Little, "the sky is falling, and Henny Penny and Ducky Daddles and Goosey Loosey and I go to tell the king."
"How do you know that the sky is falling?" asked Turkey Lurkey.
"I saw it with my eyes, I heard it with my ears, and a bit of it fell on my head," said Chicken Little.
"I will go with you to the king," said Turkey Lurkey.

So they ran along together, and they met Foxy Loxy.
"Where do you travel so fast, Chicken Little?" asked Foxy Loxy.
"Ah, Foxy Loxy," said Chicken Little, "the sky is falling, and we go to tell the king."
"Do you know the way to the king's house?" asked Foxy Loxy.
"No," said Chicken Little.
"No," said Henny Penny.
"No," said Ducky Daddles.
"No," said Goosey Loosey.
"No," said Turkey Lurkey.
"Then come with me and I will show you," said Foxy Loxy.

And just as he was about to lead them into his den to eat them...
...the sky fell on him.

"Oh dear," said Chicken Little.
"We're too late," said Henny Penny.
"Poor Foxy Loxy," said Ducky Daddles.
"No sense in going to the king," said Goosey Loosey.
"Nothing to do now but go home," said Turkey Lurkey.
And they did.
Oh me now tell me did you enjoy our little fantasy time, giggles, have a very
Blessed weekend,  may be one day we will print the boy who called Wolf.

♥ THANKFUL THURSDAY ♥

Well I know many many things I am thankful for, I could write for hours just on how God has blessed my life, and what I am so thankful for, I want to take a quiet minute, and thank him for loving me, the unlovable sinner that I am, yet he loved me so very much he laid down his life that I may be passed from death unto life, my flesh dies daily, but my Spirit lives on, and will live on in heaven on day with my precious Saviour.  I have a song on my heart too, so while we are in a attitude of thanksgiving, and perhaps prayer, lets sing this song.

Thank You Lord

Some thank the Lord for friends and home

For mercies sure and sweet
But I would praise Him for his grace
In prayer I would repeat

Chorus:
Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul
Thank you, Lord, for making me whole
Thank you, Lord, for giving to me
Thy great salvation so rich and free

Some thank Him for the flow’rs that grow
Some for the stars that shine
My heart is filled with joy and praise
Because I know He’s mine

Chorus:

Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul
Thank you, Lord, for making me whole
Thank you, Lord, for giving to me
Thy great salvation so rich and free

I trust in Him from day to day
I prove His saving grace
I’ll sing this song of praise to Him
Until I see His face

Chorus:

Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul
Thank you, Lord, for making me whole
Thank you, Lord, for giving to me
Thy great salvation so rich and free

When I first was saved I taught kindergarten children, I used to call for a quiet time, and we would bow our heads and sing this chorus thanking the lord, their little hands would be folded, and heads bowed, it was so very precious, then I would give an invitation for them to ask Jesus to come into their heart, it reminded me of picking flowers in the Spring, tender new buds on them, just asking to be picked. It is a wonderful thing to be saved when you are a child, it kept so many from getting out into the worldly things, I was 30 when I got saved, and been into the world, I so wish I had been younger, it would of saved me from so much heart break, so if you have little ones, their hearts are so tender toward Christ and the things of the bible, talk to them, make sure they understand that Jesus died for them, and wants them to be saved, and live eternally in heaven with him, we are to teach our young, and raise them in the admonition of the lord, leading them to a saving knowledge of Jesus is the perfect way, it will save you and them from much heartbreak down the road. God bless each of you today, and I have prayed for you, and all that may stop by for a visit, that if you do not know Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour, today would be the day, you let him touch your life, and ask him into your heart.. Praise God he is just a prayer away..

Wednesday Wonderful Word

I have been humming Wonderful words of life all morning, so I think I am going to share that today with you. Sing along with me, let your Spirit soar, and your voice be heard by the heavens, hugs my friends.

WONDERFUL WORDS OF LIFE

Wonderful words of life,
Let me more of their beauty see,
Wonderful words of life;
Words of life and beauty
Teach me faith and duty.

Chorus:
Beautiful words, wonderful words,
Wonderful words of life;
Beautiful words, wonderful words,
Wonderful words of life.

Christ, the blessed One, gives to all
Wonderful words of life;
Sinner, list to the loving call,
Wonderful words of life;
All so freely given,
Wooing us to heaven.

Chorus:
Beautiful words, wonderful words,
Wonderful words of life;
Beautiful words, wonderful words,
Wonderful words of life.

Sweetly echo the Gospel call,
Wonderful words of life;
Offer pardon and peace to all,
Wonderful words of life;
Jesus, only Savior,
Sanctify us forever.

Chorus:
Beautiful words, wonderful words,
Wonderful words of life;
Beautiful words, wonderful words,
Wonderful words of life.

Now let me ask you, are you singing, is your Spirit soaring, like God mentions in his holy word, you know the word sing is mentioned 119 times from Exodus 15:1 to Revelation 15:3   I think God thought it very important to sing, and to lift our voice to him, I never thought much about it before, but that is an important command from our lord, like in Psalm 30:4 "Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness." all of these are telling us to sing unto the lord, lift our voices in song, and in praise.,  he really felt it important to state it so many times, so my sweet friends lets sing unto him, and let us give praise and honor and glory to him forever and ever, lots of love my friends, and have a glorious Wednesday, and prayer meeting tonight.

~ TASTY TUESDAY ~

Psalm 119:103 "How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!"

Have you tasted his words today, they are pure, and righteous, and ever so good to the taste, but you know there are times when they taste sour, or bitter, oh me, at times the word of God is like salt being poured into an open cut, his word is like a two edged sword, now that is sharp, and very cutting, if his word never cuts into your heart, something is missing, because none of us are perfect, oh we like to think we are great holy women of God, but who are we comparing our self to? Certainly not Jesus, we come up very short when we look to Jesus as our guide, and our example. It is not hard to look good in front of others, but what about when we are all alone with Christ. He sees our every move, he knows our every thought, there is nothing we do we can hide from him, and yet he still loves us so very much, even in our sinful flesh, he loved us so much he died for us. Oh may we see him hanging there on the cross, bleeding, and beaten, and dying for us, it has to come hit home, we must realize he died for us. You may say well I was not even living when Jesus died, it could not of been on account of me, WRONG... He took all the sins of the world upon himself that day, past, present, and future, and when we accept him, we are a new person in him, old things are passed away, and all things become new. We have a newness in life, we have a new Spirit in us, Christ living in us, he keeps us aware of how to live, and only by reading his precious word can we know what he expects from us, with each promise he gives, there is a condition, even in salvation, so simple and free, but it says, BELIEVE, on the lord Jesus Christ and thou shall be saved, so we must believe, that is what we have to do simply believe. His words are pure and simple so the youngest child can understand, may we hold them dear to our heart.
There may come a time when we can not own a bible in this Country, some foreign Countries are like that already. Just like the Psalm 119:11 "Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee." We most definitely need to hide his word deep in our heart, it is important to memorize scripture, hold his word close to you, lit is fill you up, and let it tear you down, that you may live for him, may you taste of his word, and be like honey in your mouth.. Hope you enjoyed this little message God laid on my heart today, and now here is a wonderful sweet taste for you to enjoy with your family, God bless you every one that visits here, and my earnest prayer is that you love the lord thy God with all thy heart, and all they soul and all thy mind...

♥ MARVELLOUS MONDAY ♥

Well the weekend is over, and guess there are still those who are celebrating the 4th today, not us, we are resting from a very busy few days, but then we are older folks and that is what we do best, I love it when I have a day with nothing pressing to do. I have been out feeding and watering the chickens, I picked a few tomatoes, and give our outside dog some fresh water, it is very humid today, and by the time I came in my glasses were filled with water, and I was just a glistening, giggles, (for you that are not from the South, that mean sweating.) *☺* Well I think I am going to share my pasta salad I made for the cook out, I made a huge bowl of it and came home with very little, everyone really liked it, I make it a tad different than most folks do, so perhaps you will like it too. Now I love pasta, any shape and form, and especially pasta salad!

      Tuna and Macaroni Salad

3 cups uncooked macaroni, any kind or shape, have fun with it.
6 ounce can of white tuna in water

4 hard boiled eggs (peeled and diced)
1/2 cup celery

1/2 cup of Sweet Onion
1 small or medium Bell pepper
1 medium cucumber
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 whole fresh diced tomato

In a large saucepan, cook pasta according to package directions; rinse in cold water and drain. Transfer to a large bowl; add chopped boiled egg, and all of diced veggies but tomato.
Then in a small bowl whisk about 1 cup of Mayo, and about a teaspoon of mustard, a couple spoons of sweet relish if desired, I did not add the relish. when it is all mixed well add your tomatoes and just mix lightly so not to smash the tomatoes.  Best when cooled a  few hours before serving.
I also made the Blueberry Dump Cake and took with us, it was a great hit, and many asked for the recipe, and some have made and told me it was a hit at their dinners too, one lady used a boxed lemon cake mix  and said it was really good, so my advice is to play with a recipe, add and omit what ever your family likes, then make it that way, most recipes are just for guides to give you an idea of something to make.
So these are both excellent dishes to take to your summer cookouts, and both will be a hit, make them and really enjoy, smile when you make it, and know your friends will be happy for the extra love and time you spend with it.
God bless you real good, and have a Marvellous Monday, Hugs and blessings,

Happy Lord's Day, and The Fourth of July

We had a wonderful time yesterday, at the cookout, there must of been at least 40 people. We had so much food and so much fun, the ladies stayed mostly in the house, well the older ones any how, lol the younger ones were even skeet shooting, it was a great time though, fun, food and sweet fellowship with our church family. We really enjoyed it, and today every one was tired, but, we were in our place at the church today, praise God he gets us up, and he gets us going.
I hope your day is a blessed one, and that you have put God first in what ever you do today, I know it is a holiday but God is still to be put first if you have pinic plans go to church then to them, other wise your day will be ruined, an it must may rain on your parade, we did our celebrating yesterday, and today is my Lord's day, all for him, as he is a jealous God that does not like sharing his day with anyone else, including a Country, heehee, be blessed be safe, and be Godly, for HE is Holy, hugs my friends, and lets show the world how true Christians act even on Holidays.
