The Obituaries

I received this in an email, it really touched my heart, you suppose when Christ died his obit looked like this. I doubt it very much, there was never any praise or ado about our precious Saviour, the obit is good, but I would love to see a piece on His Rising, amen.. Can you imagine the look on faces then. Now that is an article worth printing,  Oh Yeah that has been written, in a book called the Bible.

Matthew 28:6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

Mark 13:21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:

Mark 16:6 And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.

Luke 9:33 And it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said.

Luke 24:6 He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,

Have a very blessed day as we approach the season of our lord's resurrection, let us ponder on all he did for
us and all he has yet planned for us. Praise his name.

In God's love, Barbara

HI Barbara, That is awesome.... I have not seen that obit... Guess I shouldn't call it 'awesome' --since Jesus did DIE... But---he died for ME--for us... How awesome is that!!!!

Love that statement saying in lieu of flowers, give to someone in need...

Thanks for sharing this one.
Hugs,
Betsy
