Fantastic Friday

This is the cutest little fellow, had to snap that one. We had a wonderful day with friends. My husband and her husband went fishing the other day, and caught a mess of fish. They invited us over their to have a fish fry. It was scrumptious, she is a wonderful hostess. We planned a new game for us, and just had the best time.
The fires over the Okefenokee Swamp is effecting our area today, the sky is yellow and look at the sun in the photos below, just so breath taking, My husband snapped all these and thought you may like to see a smoke ridden area. There is so much going on all over the Country, fires, floods and just unreal weather in parts. May God bring America back to him, and may we all look to him for his help in these hard times.
Have wonderful evening, and sorry these are coming so late, but had a wonderful busy day. God bless you real good, and do be a blessing. ♥

Oh I do love sweet little squirrels--and that is a *very* good picture!! I am so sad to see and hear about the terrible fires. We had fires that damaged hundreds of thousands of acres last month. It was terrible. So much property, homes, and beautiful fields and trees destroyed. I heartily echo your prayer--may the hearts of this country heed these warnings and return to God. His mercies are rich and limitless to those with repentant and faithful hearts.

"The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. Put them in fear, O Lord: that the nations may know themselves to be but men." (Psalms 9:17, 20)

Beautiful sunset shots, Barbara! Your fishing experience sounded great. I would love to experience that one day. I love fish but my husband doesn't. He likes shrimp.

Indeed, may our hearts continue praying for this country. He is able!

As for the smoky skies -- very similar to what we lived with while the Possom Kingdom fires were spreading. May those near you cease, too!

Hi Barbara, The fish fry sounds delicious to me. Thanks to your husband for sharing the pics. It's hard to imagine just how badly affected your area is.

We found out on Wed. that John's tumor is benign. (see Wed. post)
Thank you for your prayers and support.

The sun in the smokey haze is beautiful, though the fires are scary. I hope everyone in the area is safe!
