Good Sunday Morning

1 Peter 5:4

"And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a
crown of glory that fadeth not away".

It is a blessing to be led by godly, loving shepherds. But as much as we love them and show them respect, they will receive even greater appreciation in heaven! May be humble in the sight of God and may we submit to those who have authority over us, let us leave all our cares with the lord, he is the one who really cares, and who can make us what we want to be for him.

I love 1 Peter and we can glean so very much from it. May we live in peace and love as the one who lives in us, God bless you, have a wonderful lord's day, sing his praises and lift the name of Jesus high..

What a huge calling - that of a shepherd. So many of them have to deal with bleating (may I say "dumb") sheep, and no few goats too. I pray they receive a well-deserved reward when the reward-giving day arrives!

Pastors deserve those crowns of glory! I'm going to enjoy my crown of righteousness, for certain. Let us pray for our pastors daily as they feed God's diverse flock.
