PLEDGE TO THE AMERICAN FLAG
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

PLEDGE TO THE CHRISTIAN FLAG
I pledge allegiance to the Christian Flag and to the Savior for whose Kingdom it stands. One Savior, crucified, risen, and coming again with life and liberty to all who believe.

PLEDGE TO THE BIBLE
I pledge allegiance to the Bible, God's Holy Word, I will make it a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path and will hide its words in my heart that I might not sin against God.

PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO THE LAMB
I pledge allegiance to the Lamb with all my strength, with all I am. I will seek to honor His commands I pledge allegiance to the Lamb.

THE AMERICAN'S CREED By William Tyler Page
I believe in the United States of America as a government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a Republic; a sovereign Nation of many sovereign States; a perfect Union, one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes. I therefore believe it is my duty to my Country to love it; to support its constitution; to obey its laws; to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

These are all so very important to remember, most know the one for the flag, but never remembered the others, with love an heart I say God bless America, and may she turn back to God and put him first, in all things. If we do as God commands in
2 Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
This is the only way America will survive, and if all God's people will turn to him, and stop looking for help in all other things it will work, America will be a Christian nation once again, I say again, God bless you and this very special day, and may God bless America, and may she stand strong as we know her.

Hello, We are home from our wonderful trip... We loved it --but there's nothing like HOME.

When we visited those gorgeous places out west, both George and I praised God for the beauty--everywhere we went....

Happy 4th to you and yours.
Hugs,
Betsy

Thanks for sharing those. I have never heard of the others. Oh how we need to pray for our land. Especially here in NY where same sex marriages were just legalized. Oh Lord have mercy on us.

What an enjoyable post!!! We had a wonderful day of services Sunday, preparation not only for Christian living, but to appreciate the freedom this country offers and the freedom of the cross. Following evening services, which included wonderful bluegrass gospel singing by our Robinson brothers, we had a potluck dinner. Food, fellowship and then a huge fireworks display. We've made this an annual event, helped by our volunteer fire department, that the community enjoys. What a great start for this holiday! May yours be as safe and as blessed.

Wonderful post and lovely blog!! (Just hopped over to your blog by the way of Miss Linda!)

Our church says the first three pledges before every church service!

I agree whole-heartedly with your statements about our nation. Yes, may we all seek God and His healing for our land!
