OKAY HERE IT IS

Strange eh,  a white bloom on a pink plant... Thought I would share with you, I have never seen this, but I have it, and think it is pretty cool.

We had an awesome Christmas, so many blessings that I cannot even remember them all, we went to several churches too and that was special seeing our friends from all over this time of year.

Are you doing anything special for New Years Eve?  I wanted to find a watch night service, but did not find one in our area, I know some in Jacksonville, but that is too far to travel new years eve, too many drunks on the roads, and not wanting to start the new year off in any mishaps.

So that about does it for now. I pray all who read will have a very blessed new year, and put Christ first and for most in you life all year. May God bless you real good.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

I just want to say, Good Morning and  hope you have a very Merry Christmas..
This is my Christmas Cactus, It is over 20 years old, blooms this time every year,
simply gorgeous;I have took some of its leaves when they break off and have two other plants growing now, I noticed one of them has a white bloom coming out on it, (WHAT) yeah,
not sure what that is about but waiting until it is in full bloom then I will take a picture.

So tell me are you ready for the big day? We do not do much for Christmas since the kids all live in other states, but will go to my one daughters Christmas day, her and her family will be there, we will
take some of the bake goods I have been baking too.

The days are flying by, and seems there is not enough time in one day to get all done. Hope you all have a very blessed Christmas Holiday, and that everyone stays safe, and praise the lord for whom all blessing come from.

Lazy Monday, just kicking it back today, it was a busy day yesterday, Chuck preached at our church last night, such a blessing, I always love hearing him preach, touches my heart every time.. He preached last Sunday in a church in Blackshear, both services, such a great time of preaching, food and fellowship.  I was thinking how blessed I am, since I turned my life over to Christ I feel secure that any problem that arises he will help me with it...Let me tell you there is no problem too big for my God to handle, we have had many testings through the years and I know from experience God takes over when you let him, he will get you through whatever you are going through, whether it be a health problem, death of a loved one, financial need, just anything that arises in our life, he will be there to help you through. So pick up your cross and carry it proudly for the lord, Yep, try it you'll like it.

Have a very blessed Day, be happy in the Lord, rejoice and again he said rejoice...Philippians 4:4 "Rejoice in the lord always: and again I say, Rejoice".

(HAPPY THANKSGIVING)

Nothing like the month of November to remind us of all God has blessed us with, through out the year; Let us keep our minds on him, not the turkey, or the pies but what our blessed Saviour has done for us. He loved us to death, his death on that old rugged cross, he laid down his life for me, and for you. May we take a few minutes every day just to thank him.

Psalm 100:4-5 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures all generation. Blessings!

My heart just sings as I put all these verses of thanksgiving on my Face Book page, join with me and post your favorite verses of thanksgiving too, let us see how many we can get before Thanksgiving day, November is a month that we seem to focus more on being thankful, more than any other month, although we should be giving God our praise and thanks daily. So do post your verse in this post too, thank you and May God bless you and may we all be thankful for the very air we breath in.

I pray each of you have a wonderfully blessed Thanksgiving,  Do not eat too much.

It is amazing how fast the time is going, Thanksgiving will be here in just a week or so.
We are having family in for Thanksgiving, we bought a 23 pound Turkey the other day, I do the major of the cooking, and the kids bring sides, drinks and desserts, I am making an Watergate Salad though, think I will add t to my Love and a bite of Brownie page.

My husband is preaching a funeral today, the husband of one of our ladies in Woodbine Church, Chuck led him to the lord a few years ago, and after a year of illness he passed on, but praise God we will see him again. Keep the Allen Crews family in your prayers.

Guess What??? Give up, well lookie here. We already have our Christmas tree up, did not intend for it, but got a new pre-lit tree and wanted to make sure it worked. Pretty eh...

WelI am running late, need to go and get dressed, be blessed, and keep us in your prayers please.

It has turned cold in Georgia...I really love it though, good football weather. Loved the Florida Georgia game, Florida won, we have been Gator fans for ever, and happy to see them win over Georgia this year. My dear husband celebrating the win, giggles...

He really enjoyed this game...My great grandsons play foot ball too, they done good this year.

You can see I have my Christmas tree up already too, behind Chuck. It is early but we bought it new and put it up to see if it worked, it looked so pretty we decided to leave it up, still have to put the icicles on it..But it will be up for Thanksgiving, we have the kids come here. Lots to look forward to.

Going to be a busy month, but thank God I am able to do all that needs to be done. I praise the lord for allowing me the health to keep going.

I pray you have a wonderful Thanksgiving day, and that you will give thanks daily for all God has given you. Be blessed, and do be a Blessing.

Psalm 69:30  I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with Thanksgiving.

WOW what an awesome Sunday we had, whew I am still excited..We had a young couple come forward, they had been separated and been through counseling and now back together and want to serve God again, it was so good seeing this.. We had 60 folks saved through the fair ministry through the church, and we will begin to visit them and see if we can get them baptized and joining the church, just such wonderful reports, I am so happy to be part of this.

Okay now for my notes on the Pastor's sermon today.
Drinking from the well John 4:27-39
Being a soul winner, give others that same living water you have. (Jesus)
Tell everyone about the one who has eternal life, fulfill God's will, he went to the cross for our sins, we are to carry on the work that Christ started, let us serve happily and finish the race we started when being saved.  We are all called to take the Gospel to a lost and dying world.

The Harvest will not wait (just ask the farmers) today is the day of salvation, now is the accepted time; will you take the gospel that was the heart of Jesus out today. Will you hear God say well done thy good and faithful servant.
Don't just hear the Gospel take the Gospel to the world around you. If we do not tell them who will? Certainly not the world around us.It is our responsibility to do this, it is the Great Commission Christ himself give to us..

I tell you it really touched both of us, we do not go near enough any more, we say it is too far, it cost too much gas, well I think my God will meet our need if we do his will.

So that about does it for now, we have had some awesome weather here in Coastal Georgia, and I am loving it, cool at night and warm in the day, wow seems just too good of weather.  Now I hope you have a great  rest of week. See you again soon.

It has been wonderful here, finally cool, really  good fishing weather, we went and caught about 25 small ones. It was a good day, had lots of fun me and my hubby.

So many are going through illness, and pain, and they seem to be slipping away from God, instead of drawing near to him. Here are some thoughts today to help if you are going through hard times, or if your faith is fading.

When God saved us, he saved our soul, the soul is what will go to heaven when you die. The flesh never gets saved, it is the same old flesh we had before salvation, unruly, and being made to be put under control. What ever we feed the most will be most dominate, if we are not praying, reading our bible, being a witness, we become weak in the Spirit, you see that is the only way the soul becomes strong and can fight the Devil;  praying is us talking to God, reading the Bible is God talking to us, witnessing is us speaking for God. It seems when we are only feeding the flesh, that is when Satan can have a hay day with us, the only way to live an undefeated life is to make Jesus lord over all, he has the power to come against Satan, we are weak in the flesh but strong through Jesus Christ. He is the only way, John 3:16 all of John 3 is a great chapter to refer to, to ponder upon and claim the victory over the Devil. All this is said in much love and concern for those who are having a hard time keeping their eyes on Christ.

I am sharing this with you, Psalm 51 it is my go to chapter, some times we get busy with life and doing for others, and get a way from God, Like David I have to run back to him, and I have read this chapter so many times the pages in my bible are thin, it has helped me greatly time after time, just crying out unto the lord pleading with him to forgive me, to restore the joy of his salvation. Do you remember the joy you had when you first accepted Jesus as your Saviour? Get back there and plead with the lord, try this , read, reread then claim and make it your special chapter. Trust me I have used it, and it brings you close to the lord.

Psalm 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

2Co 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

My Plight These Days

Brenda was almost halfway to the top of the tremendous granite cliff. She was standing on a ledge where she was taking a breather during this, her first rock climb. As she rested there, the safety rope snapped against her eye and knocked out her contact lens. 'Great', she thought. 'Here I am on a rock ledge, hundreds of feet from the bottom and hundreds of feet to the top of this cliff, and now my sight is blurry.' She looked and looked, hoping that somehow it had landed on the ledge. But it just wasn't there.

She felt the panic rising in her, so she began praying. She prayed for calm, and she prayed that she may find her contact lens.

When she got to the top, a friend examined her eye and her clothing for the lens, but it was not to be found. Although she was calm now that she was at the top, she was saddened because she could not clearly see across the range of mountains. She thought of the bible verse 'The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth.'

She thought, 'Lord, You can see all these mountains. You know every stone and leaf, and You know exactly where my contact lens is. Please help me.'

Later, when they had hiked down the trail to the bottom of the cliff they met another party of climbers just starting up the face of the cliff. One of them shouted out, 'Hey, you guys! Anybody lose a contact lens?'

Well, that would be startling enough, but you know why the climber saw it? An ant was moving slowly across a twig on the face of the rock, carrying it!
The story doesn't end there. Brenda's father is a cartoonist. When she told him the incredible story of the ant, the prayer, and the contact lens, he drew a cartoon of an ant lugging that contact lens with the caption, 'Lord, I don't know why You want me to carry this thing. I can't eat it, and it's awfully heavy. But if this is what You want me to do, I'll carry it for You.'
I think it would do all of us some good to say, 'God, I don't know why You want me to carry this load. I can see no good in it and it's awfully heavy. But, if You want me to carry it, I will.'
God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called.
Yes, I do love GOD. He is my source of existence and my Savior. He keeps me functioning each and every day Without Him, I am nothing, but with Him... I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. (Phil. 4:13)
If you love GOD and are not ashamed of all the marvelous things He has done for you, send this to as many people you know. I am not sure where I got this, but, It is an amazing story of how great our God is, we limit him, but in all reality he has no limitations. Praise the holy name of God...Hope you liked this as I did.
Too it reminds me of Hinds Feet for High Places, a great book by Hannah Hurnard. Have a great day.

Just saying hello

Jeremiah 33:3 "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not."
This is such an awesome verse one that I have cited for many years, and yet still stand amazed just how true God's word is, most times we do not call upon the lord, we try to handle things on our own, and it never works out the way we planned, but when we call upon the lord he answers, sometimes it is with a no, other times he answers with much greater than what we ask.

I got my results of the Camera Endoscopy back, it showed nothing either, all is good, so from throat to rectum I am okay, now that is good news. But the down side is we still do not know where the bleeding is coming from, or why I am anemic. I say I will keep eating liver, and taking iron pills and get on with my life. Let the lord decide what to do and when to do it.

Pray for Chuck he is having a pain block on the 30th and if it works then he will have the nerve ablation done. Radiofrequency Ablation
Radiofrequency neurotomy (also called radiofrequency ablation or lesioning) is a minimally invasive procedure that can provide lasting relief to those suffering from facet joint pain. In fact, multiple clinical studies show that radiofrequency neurotomy significantly reduces pain severity and frequency for 1 to 2 years in the majority of patients.

54TH ANNIVERSARY DAY

What an awesome anniversary we had, such fun in the sun, we spent the day on Jekyll Island, Georgia. The ocean is so vast, and it shows the beauty that God has created for his creation to enjoy. You can look for miles and miles of beach and water and just lap up the sunshine he shinned down on us.
When we left home it started raining, and we started singing about Jesus and quoted that verse; Numbers 6:25 The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: and it started clearing up and the sun shinned the whole rest of the day upon us. It was wonderful. No one could of had a happier and more fun day than we did, yep God truly blessed us with 54 years, and the health to go and do for him, we try to be a witness where ever we go, God truly honors that.

UPDATE ON ,MY SURGERY

Well it is over hopefully...It was quite an ordeal, I sure wish I had been asleep for this to be done, they put about 9 shots all around the area, it numbed it well, but all the pulling and prodding on that area made me very anxious, I could feel myself getting more and more upset, I was praying and all of a sudden a calm came over me and I just relaxed, it was so hot with all the lights above too, they did cover my eyes to keep the bright light out, it took about an hour, so much longer than I thought it would,. I was one happy lady when he said all done, and she started bandaging it, that took forever too, she seemed so rough too, but it may of been because it was numb I could actually not tell.

He went very deep and the incision was about an inch long, ugh, I so hope he got it all because if he did not, I will have to go through it again, and I sure do not want that.
So here I am with my arm all bandaged more than when I had the shoulder replacement, wow how can that be???
But I am okay, I slept really good all night long, I never sleep all night long, usually get up a few time to use the bath room. So that was a good thing.

Just pray with me that it heals quickly and they did get all the cancer cells so I will not have to go do it again.
I really appreciate all your prayers, and know that is why everything went so smooth, God has his hand upon me all the way, and never left me for a second.

What a Hot Summer

Our day trip was up to Uvaldala, Georgia, such a fun time; We picked peaches right from the trees, awesome, sweet, juicy peaches, and got this whole bucket full for only 5 dollars. I paid 15 dollars two years ago for 1/4 bucket. Yeah good price, and I am smiling.

It was really funny, we stopped by the state park there, and showing some signs we see, this is our Georgia beach... I love Florida beaches and they still have my vote. The Georgia beaches have much to be desired, the FL beaches are white sand and oh so inviting. But we live in GA and need to support the area where you live, I come from FL and still has my heart.

Any how we ended up in coffee County at a state park there, we did a round about way in SE part of Georgia. It was a great day, and fun time being with my honey.

Our dear Lord has been so good to us, and give us the opportunity to travel many places in our 54 years together, without him I probably would of never left our little home town, so many I know never have been more than 50 miles from home, but we have been in all but 6 states, and in 5 different Countries, awesome God we serve.

Psalm 46:10 "Be still and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth."
I will certainly exalt my God every where we go, we give out tracts, and tell others of what Jesus has did for us, and that only by his love and grace we continue on. Thank you lord for all the blessings on me and my family.
Now you all have a very blessed week, and stay cool, it is only 96 here today instead of 98, so guess we have a cool down, NOT...

~ FIRST DAY OF SUMMER ~

Hello my Friends, well this being the first day of Summer here ins SE Georgia, and the temperatures have been in the 90's all week, with high humidity along with it, I am ready for Fall, *giggles*  yes it has been way too hot already, makes it no fun to be outside at all, and I love being out doors.

We had a couple busy days, Tuesday I went and had a legion taken off my arm it left a pretty good gap. They sent it off to be tested to see if it is Malignant or not, I don't think it is anything.

Wednesday we took Zoie Michelle to be groomed, she got her summer hair cut, looks really cute, we went shopping and picked up a few things we have been needing, a new egg pan for one thing, and a medium fry pan. Today we will stay inside and rest, lol it was really hot out running around too.

I was reading the word this morning and seen these two words...Sanctified, Justified..You know I should be neither, but through the redemption of Jesus Christ I have been both, wow, sanctified, and justified, I could never get those two things on my own, it took the blood of a sinless Saviour to give them to me, I need to be reminded of that daily, I need to act like I am his, blood bought woman.

1Co 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Ac 26:18  To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Ro 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Such an awesome study, there is not enough room here to finish this, but read it and study it, and see all we have just by being a child of God, by being washed in the blood of Christ, and being accepted into the family of God. WOW you have a blessed day, and a very blessed Weekend.

 Good Morning

How is everyone today? I actually feel good today amen...
We had an awesome day at church yesterday, we went to Blackshear, GA where Chuck preaches a lot, they had their home coming yesterday, 40 years of faithful service there, the young pastor has been there about 8 years I am thinking, he came as the youth director and when the pastor left they voted him to be their pastor, he is a good man, and had very good training, he calls on brother Chuck a lot for spiritual insights too, he and Chuck counseled a young couple yesterday, the man is very confused a young convert; he has so many hang ups from other religions, pray for this man and his wife, they are having a very difficult time in their marriage too.

It is over cast here today, and plan on doing nothing until tonight, going to the Revival in Blackshear too. Hope you have a great day.

Here is a photo: The one of the Gator is most favorite too, typical Georgia shot.

Here is a photo of my Mother's Day flowers, Did not get my two dozen roses picture my son sent, they were beautiful too, multi color, my daughter took these she give me. She also came to church that day, blessed this moms heart.

WOW IT HAS BEEN A MONTH

It is so hard to believe it has been over a month since I posted on my blog, time sure gets away from me these days.
Much has happened since then, my husband had back surgery, and is still hurting quite a bit, but walking really helps. I had a Colonoscopy yesterday, all is well with me, had a mammogram a few weeks ago and that came back good too, I am one blessed woman. God has been so good to me and my family, except for a few minor things wrong we are all in really good health.

The weather has become warmer here in the South again, lovely warm today, sun shining and love this weather in between winter and summer, called Spring, all things become new, all the new greenery on the trees all the wild flowers in bloom, it is just gorgeous around here. It is 70 right now, very nice. Below is a few of our wild flowers in bloom, just an awesome site to look around see all these.

Chuck has preached a few times since his surgery too, and Sunday he will preach again in Blackshear, GA looking forward to Sunday.

Well that is it for now, will try and be more current, hope to have a few friends left to read this blog, hugs to all who do.

♥♥♥ Have a very Happy Valentine's Day ♥♥♥

We know all hearts turn to love in this month, it is valentine month, mostly we talk about love in association with our mate, our love, but here we are going to talk about it concerning Brotherly love, and Love of God. Sit back relax , and pray that God will open your heart to this message as we read his words, and all about love.

I started this lesson on love, many years ago, I have used it to teach various ages throughout the years, now I am using it for this devotion today. Visuals always help us to understand better, make us more aware of things being said, I pray you all enjoy it and let the words of God speak to your heart, my purpose is to show how mighty love is, the real agape love God talked about in his words. With each on of my little hearts there is a scripture, but I am condensing it for here, it was an hour lesson in person, so cutting back here and there, but in all it will explain the love of God for us, our love for him, and for each other.

1. God is love: 1 John 4:8 "He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love."

Those are some strong words here, and we see so many schisms in the church, that is not love, and that is not of God, we see here if we love, we are of God, where is your heart, search deep, find a place and time you accepted Christ and asked him into your heart. That is the very first step to find true love.

2. God Loved us: John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave, his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life."

We see just how much God loved us, now are we going to love him? you say how? Well by being faithful to him, what he says to do, where he says to go, being obedient to the word of God.

3. Love God: Matthew 22:37 " Thou Shalt Love the Lord they God with All thy heart."

This is a commandment, and just one of the two Christ give us in the new testament. Let us keep it, let us cherish its meaning, let us love the lord thy God with all that is with in us, that is the agape love he put in us, other wise we could not love him with all our heart. We would love self, and all things concerning us.

4. Love One Another: John 13:34 " A new commandment I give unto you that ye love one another. As I have loved you, that ye also love one another."

I do believe this is what lacks in most of our churches today, loving one another, for some reason everyone wants the attention, they want to be the head of all, they want to in the spot light, this is of the flesh ladies, it is not of God, he wants us to be humbled and to care and love for others as he always did, you never seen Jesus wanting the attention, he was always giving, giving and then he gave everything he had for us, how can we not be giving to each other, when Christ give so much for us.

5. Love Our Neighbor: Matthew 22:39 " And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love they neighbor as thy self."

This is still talking about loving each other, who is your neighbor, everyone around you, not just the family next door, but everyone in your community, love them, reach out to them, and most of all talk to them about your Jesus, let them experience the love of God first hand through you, Lord help us to be all like Jesus, may every one we meet see him in us, reach out and touch some one, tell them you love them, and care for their soul, it will touch them, even if they do not accept it, it will reach the heart.

6. Give Jesus Your Heart: Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

First you have to give Jesus your heart, then he pours
love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. So let us LOVE one another. May we go away from this lesson saying, wow the love of God truly is something wonderful, marvelous, and I have it. May we show other love daily, and love the lord first and foremost.
