Wal-Mart was a great supporter for years -- until their pocket book was filled with imports.

Your article is a very good reminder at a time when American jobs are fading. I'd go one step further and suggest rethinking whether an item is really necessary if you cannot find it Made in America. I'll bet it will show up somewhere along the way.

Give a neighbor a helping hand.Phyllis Blickensderferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03206757687699759551noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3080158907820117194.post-29426041160143750682010-02-16T18:47:53.305-05:002010-02-16T18:47:53.305-05:00Yes amen let us all try to buy USA and most of it ...Yes amen let us all try to buy USA and most of it is cheaper too, we live in a place where fish is plentiful, yet stores in my area sell fish from China, and Indonesia just unreal, we have said something before to them but it does not do a bit of good, if everyone would never buy it, they would quit buying it themself.. Thanks gals for the replies, I am glad I do not stand alone.Barbarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09800203244324984782noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3080158907820117194.post-8930431709641236562010-02-16T17:59:35.016-05:002010-02-16T17:59:35.016-05:00Hi Barbara,

I do my best to purchase products manufactured, produced or grown right here in the USA.
At one time the US was the largest exporter of goods and food worldwide. Today, we slack far behind China, N. Korea, Indonesia, India, Mexico, etc. and in many ways it contributes to our suffering economy.
Thanks for sharing this post with us.
Mrs.BMrs. B, a very peculiar personhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03579160731517930694noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3080158907820117194.post-23029315964829007792010-02-16T12:45:53.592-05:002010-02-16T12:45:53.592-05:00True!!!

Yes, you have to look but you can find those products. If it was not made in USA I did nto buy it (for the most part) We saved a whole lot of money!! :)
I have slacked up some since settling into our home, but I still check for USA first. And plan to do it more after reading your article.Belinda Jo Adamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09790659289854997599noreply@blogger.com
