Waiting on Spring

Well I am all ready for Spring, even though it was 26 degrees
this morning, I am in the South so not expecting it to be this cold.
When Spring comes we are getting chickens, my dh has been building
this portable chicken coop, needs more paint and the fencing then
we will be ready to get them.
I love fresh eggs, and I bake really often and use many eggs so it
will be super to have fresh eggs, corn fed chickens are gret, I did have
them once before, but something killed them all, that is why this time it
will all be fenced in.
Well hope your weekend is a fabulous one, we want finish the coop,
then of course Sunday will be church, and we do not do much on Sunday.
So my dear friends, enjoy this biscuits I made just for you, and join me
again real soon.

♥ THANKFUL THURSDAY ♥

Well Praise God,  I just have so very much to be thankful for, where to start, well the fact that I am a child of the King of Kings and lord or lords is a pretty place to start, he is my all in all, he keeps a song on my lips and joy and peace in my heart, everything else is just added blessings from him.

I feel good today, I am rested, I am home and not in a hospital like some I know: I have a wonderful husband, that I have been married to almost 50 years, great grown children and I could go on and on, but I will not, this is not preaching time, it is praise time, let's give God the glory for all he has done, let us come together in one accord and praise him, He is worthy of our praise, so let's thank him and let everyone around us know, how much we love him.  It is all about him, may we be pushed way in the background, and may he shine forth like a beacon from a lighthouse. Have a wonderful day ladies, and share what you are thankful for.

Colossians 3:15 "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful."

GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD

Matthew 6:11 "Give us this day our daily bread"

God is so good to us, he provides us with our daily needs, and then pours us out a blessing besides
pressed down over flowing, I always stand amazed how he works, and how he sends our blessing
through others, God bless those who follow his leading give unmeasured and with out wanting something in return.
I baked this bread yesterday, and it used the recipe Sandra had posted on her site, it is just perfect and tastes like what you would expect bread to taste like.
Today is (Tremendous Tuesday)  the sun is shining in my computer room window, and I do not need the light on even, ever so bright, going to a beautiful day in the neighborhood.

The rain yesterday washed away pollen and everything looks so clean and pretty today, even though many of our trees are still bare and looks more like sticks than trees, I an anxious for Spring to come when all the new leaves start budding, and the new growth comes, and it will be CHICKEN time too, heehee. Planting time also.
So do have a great day...Oh I had a blessing,  about 8:30 last night the phone rang and a couple we know wanted to know if we were gonna be home, of course we were so they come over, Praise God they had just butchered a cow, and brought us a  lot of meat,  I hardly had room for it, and little Jerry had brought some more sausage over Saturday so God has filled our freezer and we are set for a while for sure.. Praise God and thanking him for his merciful hand upon us. Yes he does give us daily our daily bread, and he adds to that bread meat, potatoes, veggies, and fruits, oh my what gracious father we serve, let us never take this for granted but to always give him the glory, for everything he does in our life.
Have wonderfully blessed tremendous tuesday my friends.

♥In his precious love, Barbara♥

MAGNIFICENT MONDAY

I am so happy, I have found my red napkins, and Saturday I found the perfect Rooster napkin rings, had to go to a special place in Jacksonville, Florida, but I did find them, then yestersday in Blackshear, GA I found the perfect red napkins I wanted to go with my Rooster table settings.
What a good weekend we had, such a busy one for sure, put about 500 miles on our car over the weekend, whewwwwwww, I be tired today. But a good tired. We had a wonderful time in Jacksonville, Saturday with our family, and a marvellous time yesterday in Blackshear with our church family, we stayed there for the day went to lunch and then such sweet fellowship, we did not get home til after 10 last night, so it was a very long day.

But now today, this is all we have, is today, yesterday is gone, all we have is memory, tomorrow may never come, so lets live today like it is our last, and love everyone we come in contact with, and give the gospel to every one we meet.
It is a magnificent day here in the South, about 53 already, it is suppose to rain, but we will see, hope your day is a good one, and let us all know what you are up to today.. Hugs my friends
