Thankful Thursday

Waving at you this Thursday, I have so very much to be thankful for, Jesus is the Rock of my salvation, and his banner over me is love. Now this banner is a banner of love, protection, guidance, and help in a time of need, his hand is always upon me, so many time I would of been in a bad accident or maybe even a fatal one, but I could see the hand of God moving and taking care of the situation. I love my Jesus, and I want to tell the world how important he is to me. I am so very thankful for him loving me, and saving me.

Now Ladies it is your turn to tell us how thankful you are and what you are thankful for, what is going on in your life that the lord takes care of. Please share with us here.

Have a wonderfully blessed day, and rest assurd he is on the throne and his eyes are on you.

The Legend of the Pine Tree

There is a legend that pine trees know when it's Easter. The pine trees start their new growth in the weeks before Easter. If you look at the tops of the pine trees two weeks before Easter you'll see the yellow shoots. As the days get closer to Easter Sunday, the tallest shoot will branch off and form a cross. By the time Easter Sunday comes around, you will see that most of the pine trees will have small yellow crosses on all of the tallest shoots.

This really happens we live where there are lots of pines, and each year this actually happens, it is amazing to watch, and the process of the new growth appears as crosses on the ends of each branch.

Have a wonderfully blessed Easter dear Sisters.. Hugs to all ♥

Are You Ready to be a Disciple of Jesus Christ?
Study Luke 14:25-35

Multitudes associated with Christ. Many for Superficial Reasons. Jesus had a way of Separating the "men" from the "boys".
People today still associate with Christ for superficial reasons. (Health, Wealth, Good Luck, Normality)
In this passage Christ is dealing with Discipleship, not salvation. (Salvation free/ Discipleship is expensive)
Today we are going to see firsthand what discipleship is all about!!!

My goal is to: Lead People to Christ/ Lead People to Discipleship, sharing with them what is correct, and how we are to live for Christ. Helping them to grow in the lord.
I want to Answer the Question: "Who can be a Disciple of Jesus Christ"

1. THE PEOPLE FACTOR – Vs. 26
Are you willing to put Christ ahead of anyone else?

2. THE PERSECUTION FACTOR – Vs. 27
Are you willing to follow Christ no matter what consequences it may bring?

3. THE POSSESSIONS FACTOR – Vs. 33
Are you willing to follow Christ without the interference of wealth?

Motive: Jesus had this same commitment towards me!  Can we live for him? Can we serve him to the best of our ability, this is suppose to just stir up your minds, just make you think what am I really doing for Jesus. On this first day of the rest of our life, what will we do with this man named Jesus?
God Bless you This Day, Barbara
