The Heart of the Human Being
Proverbs 4:23
Keep they heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
Introduction:
The word "HEART" can be defined (figuratively)
A. ...the feelings
B. ...the will
C. ...the intellect
D. ...the very center of something
Everything has a heart in the figurative sense and I have no intention of going into the physical heart, I will leave that for the doctors.
While we will never be specialist in the field of "heart disease" we must study the Scriptures to know what God wants us to know about spiritual side of the "heart"
The bible uses the word in excess of 812 times. That fact alone shows the interest God has in spiritual matters of our heart.
I. The Thoughts of the The Heart Determine The Character of an individual.
A fleeting thought is not a thought in the heart but one's heart can get "set" on subjects that are detrimental to him because those things become his character. Here is the illustration Solomon presented"
(Proverbs 23:7)
II. The attitude of the Heart Determines the Words
of Thy Mouth.
To try to be anything other than what you are is hypocrisy. By nature we are sinners. We must admit to that fact. Therefore, we must claim the righteousness of Jesus Christ for our own righteousness lest we should none to claim.
(Luke 6:45)
The conversion of our hearts will transform the words of our mouths.
(Matthew 6:19-21)
IV. The condition of the Heart Determines the
Destiny of the Soul.
(Romans 10:10)
Faith in Jesus is the doorway to salvation and to Heaven as well.
Concluding Thoughts:
A. The Natural Heart Needs To Be "Pricked"
By The Gospel.
(Acts 2:36:37)
B. The Natural Heart Needs To Repent Of His Sins.
(Acts 2:38-39)
C. The Natural Heart Needs To Become Receptive
To The Word of God.
(Acts 2:41)
D. The Hearts That Repents Are The Ones That Are
Saved!
(Acts 2:47)
Has Your heart changed?
Are you able to offer a testimony concerning your salvation?
Do you know in your heart that you are truly saved?

Having a Happy Monday
So how are y'all today? Tired like me?
It has been a fast weekend, and so busy, next weekend will be the same again too, one of the church couples is having a cookout, we all are going to bring something, and they are roasting a pig, and having pulled pork, sounds like lots of fun, heehee, something for everyone, I am looking for ward to it.
Today, Monday, I am writing a devotion on God's Permissive Will, now these thoughts came from when my little Zoie was outside yesterday morning I was watching her, and she has boundaries in our yard, so I thought I would see just what she would do when the door shut, and I was not watching, or so she thought. I wanted to know if she would stay where she was suppose to, or if she would wander off on her own.
It was so fun watching her decide, much like us sometimes.
She got right to the gate, then turned around and looked toward the door, then back at the gate, (by the way the gate was open) then back at the door, she went forward a couple of steps, and stood for a long time looking out toward the road, after about a minute she turned around and headed for the porch, that pleased me, she fought off the urge to act on her own will, and thought of what I had taught her, she decided to listen to my instruction instead of her own will, and doing what she wanted to do. Is that not like we are with God? Some times we just want our way so bad, we forget, no wrong word, we ignore what God and his word has told us, that is when we get out of his will and into his permissive will, let me explain, What is the difference between God's sovereign will and God's perfect will?"
The "perfect will" of God is what you find in Romans 12:2. Because God is omniscient, He knows what He will accomplish in us. He knows what we will do, and what we would do, in any given circumstance. Thus, His plans for us will never fail;
God has penned down in the bible every little detail that will help us grow, and live a happy and productive life to be in his will. Do we always listen and obey, NO, and if you are honest you will answer no, we get outside the boundaries at times, some times intentionally other times we just get into something we never met to.
But at times God allows us to do things that are not of His perfect will so as to give us our own way, so to speak, knowing that it is not good for us, but wanting us to learn that for our self. When he allows us to do our will, at times we get off and run with the ball, thinking well God is letting me do this it must be his will, well it is not always his will for our life, some times like a parent he just gives us our way so we can see our own error in our ways.
God is still in control, and His purposes are being accomplished. His "directive will" often allows or permits (His permissive will) men to violate His preferential will (what gives Him pleasure) and His prescriptive will (His Word). God's permissive will is never outside His directive will. God "permits" those things which will lead to the accomplishment of His directive will.
Though we act against God`s will and God`s plans , He never let us down . Because He loves us deeply and abundantly, He makes an alternative arrangement. That is permissive will. Though we are pulled by our self- desire and select a way which is contrary to the best plan which God has set for us, He never gives up. God allows His permissive will to be executed in a nation or in a people group.
Many times, we fulfill His permissive will only. We may not be prepared to fulfill His perfect will. Even when we decide to do what looks good to us, His loves never lets us down. His love is the only reason for not being forsaken.
But, only when we fulfill His perfect will, We can receive His fullness of blessings.
Now I don't know about you, but me, I definitely want to be in his perfect and acceptable will, to live and be an obedient child, to make my God happy, and not to grieve him in any way, funny how a little dog can give us ideas and to show us God's way.
God bless you and I hope you are living in his perfect will, peacefully, happily, and full of love and contentment. That is what being surrendered to God is all about.
It is all for our own good, he loves us so much, and he wants us to be happy, and to live victoriously daily in our life.
You be blessed now, and have a wonderful day. Hugs my friends.

Drinking From The Well of Living Water, Happy Now Am I
"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death." Romans 8:1-2
The law of Spirit and life is a great liberator! Amen we are set free from the law of sin and death. Death has no rule over us because of Jesus' resurrection.
Sin has no claim on us because Jesus paid off our debt to sin on the cross of calvary. We stand before our Holy God as his righteous spotless children, free at last because of the work of our mighty Lord Jesus Christ. There is no condemnation in our future, only glory!
Wow that makes me want to shout, gives a holy goose bump, and brings a smile to my face, I am so blessed and so forgiven for all the wicked evil I have did in my life, praise God for the victory Jesus give...
Have a wonderful and blessed Sunday, Praise God we are able to go worship our Saviour freely.

Dark Calvary
"Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour." (Matthew 27:45)
The second verse of the grand old hymn "The Old Rugged Cross" contains much truth, rich and deep.
Oh, that old rugged cross, so despised by the world,
Has a wondrous attraction for me;
For the dear Lamb of God left His glory above
To bear it to dark Calvary.
The world despises the cross, and the One on the cross. "He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not" (Isaiah 53:3). But yet, even in His bloodied and broken form, there is a wondrous attraction, for "surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: . . . he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed" (vv. 4-5).
His death substituted for ours. He was the sacrificial "Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world" (John 1:29). This Lamb is none other than God the Son, who willingly "took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: . . . and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross" (Philippians 2:7-8). Remarkably, even God the Father "despised" Him as He hung on the cross, for God is holy, and for our sakes had "made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him" (2 Corinthians 5:21). The apex of Christ's suffering came, as we see in our text, when God the Father separated Himself from His beloved Son, "forsaking " (v. 46) Christ to suffer for three hours the awful pangs of hell which we deserved. So I'll cherish the old rugged cross.

Are You Ready to be a Disciple of Jesus Christ?
Study Luke 14:25-35
Multitudes associated with Christ. Many for Superficial Reasons. Jesus had a way of Separating the "men" from the "boys".
People today still associate with Christ for superficial reasons. (Health, Wealth, Good Luck, Normality)
In this passage Christ is dealing with Discipleship, not salvation. (Salvation free/ Discipleship is expensive)
Today we are going to see firsthand what discipleship is all about!!!
My goal is to: Lead People to Christ/ Lead People to Discipleship, sharing with them what is correct, and how we are to live for Christ. Helping them to grow in the lord.
I want to Answer the Question: "Who can be a Disciple of Jesus Christ"
1. THE PEOPLE FACTOR – Vs. 26
Are you willing to put Christ ahead of anyone else?
2. THE PERSECUTION FACTOR – Vs. 27
Are you willing to follow Christ no matter what consequences it may bring?
3. THE POSSESSIONS FACTOR – Vs. 33
Are you willing to follow Christ without the interference of wealth?
Motive: Jesus had this same commitment towards me! Can we live for him? Can we serve him to the best of our ability, this is suppose to just stir up your minds, just make you think what am I really doing for Jesus. On this first day of the rest of our life, what will we do with this man named Jesus?
God Bless you This Day, Barbara

November 29th Devotional
"And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat." (Luke 22:31)
Most of us do not warrant the personal attention of Satan as Peter did, for we do not constitute as great a threat to his kingdom as Peter did. Nevertheless the devil, "as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour" (1 Peter 5:8). Whether he attacks us himself--as he did Peter, and David, and Job--or assigns this task to one or more of his demons, the fact is that Satan is real and his legions of evil spirits are real, and they will, indeed, seek to force every believer into Satan's sieve.
John calls Satan "the accuser of our brethren . . . which accused them before our God day and night" (Revelation 12:10). He uses every device to keep us from Christ, or to persuade us to sin against Him, or even to deny Him as Peter did. Jesus called Satan "a murderer from the beginning . . . a liar, and the father of it" (John 8:44). He seeks to sow discord among the brethren, to sow tares among the wheat, to sow false doctrine with the truth, to sow evil thoughts in the pure, to do all he can to hinder our work for God and our faith in Him. And, as Martin Luther sang: "On earth is not his equal."
Yes, but "we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins" (1 John 2:1-2). Furthermore, "he ever liveth to make intercession for them" (Hebrews 7:25).
The Lord assured Peter that, even though Satan would sift him as wheat, "I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not" (Luke 22:32). And when Jesus prays, God answers!
When we, like Peter, have been sifted through the sieve of Satan, and when we also know that our great advocate and intercessor has prayed for us and our faith has not failed, then we can, as the Lord exhorted Peter, "strengthen thy brethren" (Luke 22:32). HMM

Tuesday's Thot
Faith doesn't get you around trouble;
It gets you through it.
"Without faith it is impossible to please God." Heb. 11:6.
"Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God." Rom. 10:17.
The word of God declares faith, a necessity to harmony with the mind of God; and its reasonableness will be apparent, when it is seen that it could not be other than impossible, to be at peace with God without it; and not only so, but it will then appear beautiful in its simplicity, as part of the grand plan of the ages, for the gathering together in one all things under Jesus.

"For God so LOVED the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life"
It never ceases to amaze me how much God loves me, there is not another soul that would lay down his life for me, and to leave his home in Glory to come down be a humble servant so as I may be saved. Wow, what a wonderful saviour we serve, how can we give him anything less than our best, when he has given his best for all. God bless you this wonderful Lord's day, may the blessings of God flow abundantly and over your expectations.

God Is Love
"He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love."
(1 John 4:8)
The simplest description of God is the Bible phrase "God is love." Everyone responds to love, and everything seems empty and pointless without it. Little wonder, then, that the Scripture also says, "He that loveth not knoweth not God." If God were truly known, love--not hate--would be the result.
The love of God is not merely a theoretical concept or a theological doctrine. "Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins" (1 John 4:10).
One of the first glimpses we have of God is when He was looking for Adam and Eve after their disobedience. One godly preacher noted, "When you read God's first question to man, 'Where art thou?' (Genesis 3:9), as though He were some sort of policeman seeking a fugitive from justice, you do not know anything about God. You must read it as though God were a broken-hearted father looking for a lost child."
God aches to help us. God loves us more than we can ever understand or even begin to feel. Our text tells us that "God is love." "The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth" (Exodus 34:6), loves us.
Yet in spite of God's love and His never-ceasing desire to bless us with His love, our thoughts toward Him and our relationships with Him are often troublesome and uncomfortable--not warm and loving. Could it be that our "iniquities have separated between" us and God, and our "sins have hid his face" from us (Isaiah 59:2)? God is love, but God is holy, too (1 Peter 1:16). These meet together in Christ. When we come to Him, we need only to "confess our sins," for "he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

Spiritual Hygiene
"But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come."
(1 Timothy 4:7-8)
We are bombarded these days with diet plans, exercise programs, health foods, beauty aids, etc.--all aimed at improving our lives or lifestyles. These may profit a "little," and should not be ignored, but we must never allow a preoccupation with physical things to negate our true priorities.
Spiritual hygiene is much more important than physical hygiene. As infants, we should "desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby"
(1 Peter 2:2). For adults, "strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age" (Hebrews 5:14)--those who are no longer "unskillful in the word of righteousness" (v. 13).
We are to be "nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine"
(1 Timothy 4:6), and admonished to profess "sound literally 'healthy' doctrine" (Titus 1:9; 2:1) and healthy "faith" (1:13; 2:2), as well as healthy "charity" and "patience" (2:2), and use healthy "speech" (2:8).
Exercise must not be ignored, but it should be "exercise . . . unto godliness"
(1 Timothy 4:7), enabling us to "discern both good and evil" (Hebrews 5:14). It may take the form of chastisement, which "yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness"(12:11).
And, of course, cleanliness is important. "Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word" (Psalm 119:9). Christ gave Himself "that he might sanctify and cleanse the church with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish" (Ephesians 5:26-27). I love these devotions and this one is so true for todays living, so many run on old wives tales, and what grandma said, instead of looking to the word of God and see what he has to say, The Days of Praise are them most vivid and accurate daily devotionals I have ever see, always KJV scripture too, if you want to order some for your church or to come in your email daily just go sign up.

Thoughtful Thursday
Well another Thursday is here, I am thinking about when I first accepted Jesus Christ as my Saviour. Oh what a difference he made in my life, and how he changed my list of want to's. It is amazing, after all these years I can still remember that day like it was recent, it has been 35 years, WOW..
So much has happened in those years, most to bring glory to God, but I do remember a time I quit on God, I got made at God, and refused to serve him, That has probably never happened with you, but it did me, and I am so regretful today for this time I spent away from him, it was only for a couple of years, but oh the bad testimony it give. As Christians the most important thing we have is our testimony, we need to stay faithful to our lord, and we to show others just how much God means to us by how we serve him, are we faithful to God? Do we really see him as the most important factor in our life? Others will see him as we see him, and how we show him in the way we live.
Friends please add your thoughts here, and tell us about your day of salvation, and how God has changed your life. There is nothing in this world to turn to, if I ever left his side, where would I go. I would die, I really feel that, If I did not have Christ as my constant companion I surely would shrivel up and die. Tell us your story, please, share with us, and let us here your wonderful testimony for our lord.

God's Word, God's Day
We know what God is like, not only by His perfections and works, but also by His names. They tell us many things about God’s care and concern for his own. This is one of the fascinating studies of Scripture. The various circumstances which bring forth each of the names of God are important. Lets take a couple verses for today, they are excellent and will show you a little of who God is, and what he can do.
Abraham called on the name of the Lord in Genesis
Gen. 12:8 "And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the LORD, and called upon the name of the LORD."
Gen 13:4 "Unto the place of the altar, which he had made there at the first: and there Abram called on the name of the LORD."
The name of God is called “wonderful” in Judges
Judges 13:18 "And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Why askest thou thus after my name, seeing it is secret?"
Salvation is through His name in John
John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God,
even to them that believe on his name:
He has hundreds of names, and each one is amazing, each aspect of God's nature is amazing, and I thank him for his amazing grace.

(Encouragement for Tuesday)
“A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” John 13: 34, 35
We are seeing more daily love dissipating, and the neighboring kindness that was around in my young days is almost non existent. Why is that? When our Lord Jesus Christ told us to love one another, and that by this the world will know we belong to Christ. So if we are not loving those we can reach, we are being disobedient to our Father, and we wonder why it is so hard to get others to come to church. Let it begin with me, lets examine our self and see what God shows us about how we love those around us. Oh lord let us be the loving vessels to reach this lost world, and let us be obedient to your will in our life.
Jesus wrote these things for a reason, he knew what it would take for the world to see him, Let the world see the joy Christ gives us, let us be a light in a dark world to someone who needs a kind word, or maybe just a smile.
Remember Jesus said, if you love me Keep my Commandments...

Here Comes The Bride
June is here, the beginning of summer, and it is hot in Southern Georgia.
The children are either out of school or getting close, what will your summer hold? The month of June is known for the Bridal month, every young girl dreams of a wedding in June. Probably half the marriages performed are in June, I am thinking this would make a good devotional for this month. Some have an anniversary this month, so you can really relate then. I do pray that you will have a blessed summer, and stay healthy and happy. Put God first in all you do.
First we are gonna talk about being a bride, I think we all can remember the excitement of those times, planning our wedding, making sure the guest list is done, choosing that beautiful White Dress, looking in the mirror and seeing this young girl who is about to become a married woman all the dreams and thoughts that go through our minds, in getting things ready for that big day. A little scared, and even fearful to some, wondering if the groom will show up. But even after 48 years of marriage I still remember my wedding as if it were yesterday.
Then finally it is here, and we are standing beside the man that we will spend the rest of our life with, looking into his handsome face, and just so filled with love and adoration for him. Very soon we will say those special words, I do, I do love you, I do commit my life to you, I do I do I do...
Now lets think a little deeper, and a little more spiritual, lets talk about the Bride and Groom to come. All of us that are in Christ through his salvation, and regeneration of his Spirit, are his Bride, are we as excited about becoming his birde as we were our human Groom? Can we hardly wait to see him? Do we sit in awe looking at his word, picturing his dear face, and excited about the special things he has planned for us, Oh I hope you do, my earnest longing is to be with Christ, to be like him, and live with him forever.
All Believers will be married to Christ, Are we so anxious for that day to come that we pray come quickly Lord, Come quickly? Let us rejoice and exalt the name of Jesus, and give Him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready; to her it has been granted to be clothed with fine linen, bright and pure, for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints. And the angel said to me, "Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb." And he said to me, "These are true words of God" (Revelation 19:7-9).
Since in heaven there will be not death, there is no need for husband and wife relations. There is no need for the population growth of humanity since there will be no adding or subtracting to the number in heaven. Since Jesus emphasized there will be no marrying in heaven, then marital relations seems to be something that is absent. Whatever God has planned for believers will be something far better than anything we can imagine. The Bible says, However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him"
1 Corinthians 2:9).
The resurrected state will be God-centered, not human-centered. The emphasis will be upon God, not humanity. Therefore many of the questions that we presently have about heaven will not be issues once we come into the presence of God. Marriage, as we know it, is not necessary in heaven because there is no need for continuing the race. The number of people in heaven will not increase or decrease - it will remain the same. Believers will be married to Christ and have even deeper relationships than we have ever experienced on the earth. We will live forever, no sickness no heartache no loosing loved ones, Oh I say Come Quickly my Beloved come Quickly.
Have a very blessed month of June, stay healthy, happy and wise. Obey the Lord.

The Devil & the Duck
There was a little boy visiting his grandparents on their farm.
He was given a slingshot to play with out in the woods.
He practiced in the woods; but he could never hit the target.
Getting a little discouraged, he headed back for dinner.
As he was walking back he saw Grandma's pet duck.
Just out of impulse, he let the slingshot fly, hit the duck square in the head and killed it.
He was shocked and grieved! In a panic, he hid the dead duck in the wood pile;
only to see his Sister watching! Sally had seen it all, but she said nothing.
After lunch the next day Grandma said, 'Sally, let's wash the dishes'
But Sally said, 'Grandma, Johnny told me he wanted to help in the kitchen.'
Then she whispered to him, "Remember the duck?'
So Johnny did the dishes. Later that day, Grandpa asked if the children wanted to go fishing and Grandma said, 'I'm sorry but I need Sally to help make supper.' Sally just smiled and said, 'well that's all right because Johnny told me he wanted to help? She whispered again, 'Remember the duck?'
So Sally went fishing and Johnny stayed to help.
After several days of Johnny doing both his chores and Sally's; he Finally couldn't stand it any longer.
He came to Grandma and confessed that he had killed the duck.
Grandma knelt down, gave him a hug and said, 'Sweetheart, I know. You see, I was standing at the window and I saw the whole thing, but because I love you, I forgave you.
I was just wondering how long you would let Sally make a slave of you.'
Thought for the day and every day thereafter:
Whatever is in your past, whatever you have done...?
And the devil keeps throwing it up in your face (lying, cheating, debt, fear, bad habits, hatred, anger, bitterness, etc.)...whatever it is...
You need to know that: God was standing at the window and He saw the whole thing.
He has seen your whole life... He wants you to know that He loves you and that you are forgiven. He's just wondering how long you will let the devil make a slave of you.
The great thing about God is that when you ask for forgiveness;
He not only forgives you, but He forgets. It is by God's grace and mercy that we are saved.

All Arrayed In White
Meet The Love of My Life
June is a time when all young girls are thinking of marriage, and some are preparing for the big wedding day, There is much preparation in a wedding.
Now let me tell you about my bridegroom, he is the best of the best, the most awesome, the most refined, the greatest of great, the most wonderful and total all around groom any one could ever imagine, He is one willing to lay down his life for me, the one who will take care of me forever. Below are some attributes of my coming bridegroom, and my earnest desire is that you have are ready to meet him too, that you have been prepared by the Master himself, set apart, and made ready for his love, his service, his coming day to make you his bride. If you are not ready, today is the accepted time, today is the day of salvation, please do not wait any longer, call out to him today, and make him your Saviour, then on that very special day you will be his bride.
I am going to share these wonderful scriptures with you, it tells you exactly how wonderful my groom is, what he looks like, and it shows the love in my heart for him. The scripture is found in the Songs of Solomon,
5:2 I sleep, but my heart waketh: it is the voice of my beloved that knocketh, saying, Open to me, my sister, my love, my dove, my undefiled: for my head is filled with dew, and my locks with the drops of the night.
5:3 I have put off my coat; how shall I put it on? I have washed my feet; how shall I defile them?
5:4 My beloved put in his hand by the hole of the door, and my bowels were moved for him.
5:5 I rose up to open to my beloved; and my hands dropped with myrrh, and my fingers with sweet smelling myrrh, upon the handles of the lock.
5:6 I opened to my beloved; but my beloved had withdrawn himself, [and] was gone: my soul failed when he spake: I sought him, but I could not find him; I called him, but he gave me no answer.
5:7 The watchmen that went about the city found me, they smote me, they wounded me; the keepers of the walls took away my veil from me.
5:8 I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, if ye find my beloved, that ye tell him, that I am sick of love.
5:9 What is thy beloved more than another beloved, O thou fairest among women? what is thy beloved more than another beloved, that thou dost so charge us?
5:10 My beloved is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand.
5:11 His head is as the most fine gold, his locks are bushy, and black as a raven.
5:12 His eyes are as the eyes of doves by the rivers of waters, washed with milk, and fitly set. 5:13 His cheeks are as a bed of spices, as sweet flowers: his lips like lilies, dropping sweet smelling myrrh.
5:14 His hands are as gold rings set with the beryl: his belly is as bright ivory overlaid with sapphires.
5:15 His legs are as pillars of marble, set upon sockets of fine gold: his countenance is as Lebanon, excellent as the cedars.
5:16 His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.
This is what the girls today would say is a real hunk, and he is mine, he is my life, my love, he is coming for his bride and we will go to meet him in the air, let us be ready, for in such an hour as we think not, he will come. He Promised.
We will forever be with him in heaven, that really makes me excited how about you, lets tell everyone we know about our Jesus and introduce him to all our friends and loved ones. He is the Lord or Lords, King of Kings and my coming bride groom.

A Little Word For Saturday
Isaiah 40:11 "He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young."
Isn't this the most perfect picture, I have a mental image that really excites me, my precious lord leading me, and taking me to higher places, drawing me close to his bosom. Each day is a new step in his grace, each day is another opportunity to grow a little more, to learn more of his precious words, and to get closer to our Shepherd, we all need to be up close and personal with our lord, we are gonna feel so out of place when the rapture comes, if we are not close to him here on earth. I feel this is a training ground for us to learn how to be Godly like he is, and how to spend our days wisely like he does, and how to get used to how heaven will be, we may not have the streets of gold, and walls of jasper, or gates of pearl, but we have a glimpse of how our life will be in heaven just being in his word, and knowing more about our dear Saviour daily. It is a constant walk, and constant learning process, lets compare it to our marriage here to our husbands, we loved them when we married them, but it took time to really get to know him, and to love him like we do today, we learned the ins and outs of how he is, how the inner person really is, how he felt, what made him tick so to speak, and that is how we need to learn about our Jesus, we need to spend time with him, we need to ask him questions, we need his touch on us daily, then when he gets ready to bring us home, it will not be such a difference in our way of life, we will be seen as he sees then, and we will be made perfect in his image, so lets get busy right today, and make up our minds we are going to be ready to meet our Jesus, when he comes in the sky for us. Have a blessed day, and know it may be today he comes for us, be ye also ready, for in such an hour as ye think not the son of man cometh.
