Have A Very Blessed Weekend

Love it. So we did our shopping for the month, and got home about 7 pm, ugh, my legs are sore today, heehee,
I did shop til I dropped, but it is a good tired knowing
I accomplished so much, and now I am done for the month. Yeah.
What plans do you have for the weekend? Hope you all are blessed and know Jesus loves you and so do I.

Psalm 119:159 "Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to thy lovingkindness

Whewwwwww I am one tired girl... But God is good all the time, and cares for me even when I over do. We left yesterday around 12:00 noon, first stop was at Bells I got a few things in there, one being a Green apple Yankee Candle, they have the best price in town, and those last so long and smell so good, then we went to Salvation army, I got the cutest magazine rack, with butterfly ends, all solid wood, and very nice, a little tin with mini cookie cutters for fall in it, then the best part, I have been looking for a watch band, mine broke the other day, well I seen this one in the glass section there, and so I got it, for 1:50 when I started looking it over the watch was that it was on is a signed Thomas Kinkade, well I know I got my money's worth, so then we went to Wal Mart for the monthly grocery shopping, I got a battery for my new watch, and it works great, so pretty with the light house on it, my dh collects light houses so they are kinda special to me also.

Thankful Thursday

I am thankful that we are doing work for the lord, and that even though I stay tired he keeps me going. Through God's Grace and infinite mercy.

A preacher we met at the graduation Tuesday evening called and asked brother Chuck to come and preach at his church in Waycross last evening, so we did, and it was really a good message on God's marvellous mercy. We did not get home til late again ,it is a hour drive from here. We did enjoy it though. I am thankful he gives us the strength and health to be able to do the things we can do for him, it just amazes me how he works, and how things come out of no where.

The pastor from the church in Woodbine where my husband was pastor for 14 years called and wants him to come preach Father's day, so that is kinda fitting, he is like a father to all those in Woodbine church. I am looking for ward to going, I wish Jennifer was still there we could sing a song, (she and her family were there when we were there and we sang a lot) it wil be nice, and I give God the glory for opening these doors for Chuck, it blesses my heart to see him preach, I am partial, I love his preaching, it has always filled my cup plum full.

Some get old and just sit around, thank God we are not some of them, we are very active, and do all we are able to do for the lord. it blesses my heart, because a year ago I could barely get around, then I had knee replacement surgery and today I can go, I must say I do get more tired now than I used to, but you can always sleep, work for the lord today, we may not be able to tomorrow, we never know what will happen tomorrow, so may we all do all we can for our blessed Saviour today, who give his all for us.
I am so thankful God saved me and keeps me saved and is coming for again one day, and I say, COME QUICKLY LORD, COME QUICKLY. Well hope you all are thankful for today, the breath you breathe and the roof over head, the food you eat, the clothes you wear, yep they all come from God, in his infinite mercy he cares for us in every small detail, figure he takes care of the sparrow, how much more will he care for me, amen, thank you lord for all your blessings on me. Well that is what I have been up to, how about you, what is going on in your life.
Lots of hugs, Blessings Barbara

See no Evil, Hear no Evil, Speak no Evil

"The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips: but the
just shall come out of trouble." Proverbs 12:13

Our mouths can sure get us into trouble, can't they! This is
especially true for someone whose heart is tainted by evil. Talk
reveals so much about our interior life, and an evil person has a
lot to hide! But that brings us to ourselves. What does our talk
reveal about us? Does it help us escape trouble or does it reveal
festering evil in our souls?

COFFEE FILTER TIPS
Use them to sprout seeds. Simply dampen the coffee filter, place
seeds inside, fold it and place it into a plastic baggie until they sprout.

Save some clean up when weighing chopped foods. Place chopped
ingredients in a coffee filter on the kitchen scale.

Coffee filters make convenient wrappers for
messy foods, tacos just to mention one ...

Line a plant pot with a coffee filter to prevent the soil
from going through the drainage holes.

Place two or three on a plate to soak up the grease
from fired bacon, french fries, chicken fingers, etc.

Keep in bathroom, they make great razor nick fixers
and handy for small clean up..

Well that is all for today, hope you have a wonderful day,
May God bless you real good, and be a blessing to
some else today, lots of love, prayers, and plenty of hugs.
