As I study the word of God today, I see so many things that are in today's churches, and Dr. Henry Morgan from Days of Praise states it so very well in his devotional for today, as you read it think about the things God is saying here, apply it to your life, and may it bring you closer to our Lord. God bless you this Saturday, may you have a very wonderful weekend. Now the message. Beware of False Teachers "Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness." (2 Peter 3:17) Peter's final epistle, especially chapters 2 and 3, is the classic New Testament passage on the false teachers that would plague the church in the "last days" (v. 3). In addition to the characteristics listed in the introductory verse, 2:1 (e.g., slipping in surreptitiously heretical teachings, denying the redemptive work and Lordship of Christ), a number of their attributes are predicted for our guidance, as follows: They will "wrest the scriptures" (3:16), distorting their literal meaning to conform to their own philosophical preferences. This will involve using "feigned words" (2:3)--that is, plastic words, words with devious meanings to make them say what their users wish to convey. They may well be very eloquent and seductive in their speech, "when they speak great swelling words of vanity" (2:18). They will deny the doctrine of special creation and the judgment of the worldwide Flood (3:5-6), teaching instead that "all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation" (v. 4), and will scoff at the Second Coming. They "despise government" and are "presumptuous" and "selfwilled . . . not afraid to speak evil of dignities" (2:10). They both practice and defend immoral acts, "having eyes full of adultery" (v. 14). Yet they maintain their religious ties because they have hearts "exercised with covetous practices" (v. 14), seeing nothing evil in taking money for personal gain from those whose faith they seek to undermine. This is, indeed, a fitting description of many modern liberal theologians, religious bureaucrats in the big denominations, "New Age" preachers, college teachers of religion, etc. Although this is not a pleasant subject, Christians urgently need to awaken to what is happening, and "beware"! Happy Friday
Friday, the gate way to the weekend, Sunday is just around the corner, I am excited already. It is another rainy off and on day, but it is doing wonders for my flowers, grass and plants. The grass is so green and I have my first flower on my Hisbiscus Plant, so pretty, take a peek. So you can see it is doing good for all outside, except maybe me, lol I have a new pool and have not been able to even step in it, perhaps Monday, we can have a break and do a BBQ and swim, maybe. Hope your weekend is a very blessed one, and do attend your church this Sunday, God bless you.

HOW DOES YOUR GARDEN GROW
Thursday and still raining here in Georgia, it is good for the grass, and good for the flowers, and good for all the frogs, but, the humans here have had enough. We had to cover our tomato and pepper plants so as they would not get flooded out and rot.
I am ready for some sunshine myself, and our weather report said rain into next Tuesday, I so wish I could share it with all those who are experiencing drought in their area. We do have an abundance, and in the swamps of Georgia it really is not needed like this. We have a pond out back and it is the fullest I have ever seen it, the fish in it should be loving all this extra oxygen. Our Golden Retriever loves it too, she has several dips a day in the pond, and cools off nicely, our Goldie Girl is a Country girl indeed, we live on 10 acres, with most of it still wooded, and she roams all over back here. She enjoys the beauty God has created as much as we do.
"God gave you a gift of 86,400 seconds today. Have you used one to say "thank you?"
I hope you have a blessed day, and that your time is well spent, and that you spend a little extra time to be with our Lord, he gives so much for us, may we at least give him a little time each day and thank him for all his blessings on us. God bless you and if you have a prayer need, please feel free to leave it, or email me and I will be glad to pray with you.

What a Mighty God We Serve
The Surgery is over Pat is doing fine; everything went well and very quickly. The Doctors removed all the tissue that was around the tumor, they also removed all the lymph nodes under her arm!! She will be staying over night in the hospital! Yes Praise God they said the pieces they removed came back from pathology as NOT CANCEROUS, amen.. Now they did take a piece from her breast and will send it off that will take a 48 hours to see if there is any living cancerous cells there, we already know there is not, God already removed all that terrible stuff from my dear friends body. It was a terrible day in Jacksonville, rain and wind terrible for driving, but God is so gracious and we are back home safe, amen. Thank you to those who were praying, and know our God is amazing, and he still is working miracles in our lives, and in those we love, what a testimony our friends have been through all this battle with cancer, and through those Chemo treatment, but nothing is too hard for God, and when we trust in him, we know he will bring us through. What a mighty God we serve.

I Have Been All Tied Up For Days Now...
So much been going on, and we live a very busy life, with church, family, and tasks at hand it is a good and very full life. But you know some times we think there just is not enough time in one day to accomplish all we need to. Most of my days are like that, but God sifts through all the unimportant stuff and seems to have a way of putting my agenda in a perfect order for me, so I do get most done that is needed. The weather is gloomy here, but praise God the Son still shines down upon me, and even through the rain drops, and cold air he warms my soul, and keeps my heart leaning toward him, what an awesome God I serve, I shudder to think of what life would be without him, I know that will never happen though, he told me in his precious word that he would never leave me or forsake me. I am not sure how many are reading this blog, but whom ever does I ask you to pray for my dear friend Pat tomorrow, she is having surgery, she was diagnosed with breast cancer about 6 months ago, she went through Chemo therapy and now it is time to see inside, the MRI said there in no cancer, and that is what we are praying for tomorrow, when they look inside, they will just remove the scar tissue, and there will be no signs of cancer there or any where else. Pray this with me please, and I know the Lord has brought her through all this, and it will be such a tremendous testimony to him when it is all over, and others see the way he worked in this physical problem, but we all know nothing is too hard for our God almighty to take care of, let it be a good lesson for us all, and let us see him in the perspective he is, Omniscience, Omnipotent, Omnipresent and all caring for his own, God bless you reader, and God bless my dear friend tomorrow in her time of trial. Thank You Lord for all you will do, in her, and through her.
Be A Blessing To Your Pastor and his dear wife Today:
Exodus 17:9-12 “And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand. So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses’ hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.”
Taking a moment to say thank you Pastor, and Mrs. for your kindess and gentle Spirit, for your longsuffering, and your great compassion on others, our pastors need this, they go through so very much daily that we never hear about, and never see, only God knows the heart breaks and heart aches a pastor goes through being the under Shepherd for his flock. So take a minute to pray for yours, and to let him know you are praying for him, in these hard days it will certainly be a blessing to them both. In doing so you will love and respect him more, and will be blessed too.

Psalm 118:24 "This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it."
I call today Sonday, it is the Lord's day, and I go to worship him and be with his people this day, this is the day set aside for all of us to bring our tithes and offerings and give them to our lord, how you say, through our local church, that is how we give to our lord, and not only our money but our time, our love, our prayers, this is the first day of the week, it is only right to give to our lord the first fruits of our life on this day. Have a very blessed day serving God where ever you are, and I pray that his blessings will flow through you as it does with us,. God bless you and know Jesus loves you, he loves you so much he laid down his life for you. How can we not serve him to the best of our abilities. Make sure you pray for your pastor today too, asking God to give him fresh oil, and a special anointing that he will speak with boldness and clarity of speech.
