CAN WE HAVE A DRUM ROLL PLEASE

VERY FIRST EGG, I AM SO HAPPY
Those who have been following my  blog know we got chicken about a month ago, we bought ones that were almost old enough to lay, well today was the day, so I can imagine every day now there will be at least one egg in our nest. I love my chickens and the it was a tough beginning, but they are thriving and doing well. Hopefully I will not have to buy eggs ever again.

Being it is so late, I will post my Sunday post too, I am just so thankful I have a wonderful church to go and worship the lord tomorrow. So many have fallen by the way side, or have replaced the KJV with other perversions. OOPS should say versions, to be politically correct, yeah right, it is what it is, a really bad imitation of God's Holy word.  I feel bad for these ones that are rewriting the word God give with such replacements.  Because In Revelations God told what would happen if any one changed his word.
Revelation 22:18 "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:"
Revelation 22:19 "And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."
Lord help us to be true to you, to look to you for all our answers, and to be obedient to you and your holy word. Lord I ask that you bless each one who reads this blog, and give them a peace of understanding and obeying you. Happiness is definitely knowing the Savior, and being his obedient child.
Now have a wonderful Lord's day, and let us say I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the lord.
In His Loving Care, Barbara

♥ FRIENDSHIP FRIDAY

Well it is our Friendship Friday again, I welcome you to my blog, if we are nothing else we certainly are friendly. I love my new friends I have made since opening this blog, and to all my friends I had before from various sites, welcome, come sit a spell with me, and lets laugh, and sip some tea together. What kind of tea do you like best? I have a friend that love the Chai tea, I love the Raspberry tea myself, so what ever your favorite is, sip with me on this Friday, take a break from what ever you are doing, and just relax, and think about your friendships.

In God's word he has things to say about friends too;  Proverbs 18:24 "A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.
We must be friendly, we must entertain others, and see the importance of them, we must look past our own selfish needs and look to the needs of others, one verse says that "A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity." Proverbs 17:17 I have made some life long friends that started out with me helping them in small way, when others help us, we have a bond with them, and we see a inner love in them, that gives us a tendency to want to be near them, to be friends with them. So never take it lightly when you need help, or when you help others.
Now my favorite verse, is found in John 15:13 "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." I love that verse, and oh to be like Jesus, I know I fall so short, and my list is very short who I would lay down my life for, but he laid his life down for us, for man in general, with only one stipulation, that we trust in him, accept him, oh friend if you have never trusted Jesus as your Saviour, let today be the day, open your heart to him, and ask him to come in and be your friend, your love, your life, your saviour...

Now my friends, I ask that you show yourself friendly, send an E-card or a thinking of you card to some one you know, there is someone in need, I am sure you know some one like this, some one who just needs to know you care, and you are thinking of them.
Have a wonderful Friday, and weekend, God bless you real good.

Well praise God,  I am thankful for this wonderful photo I was able to get yesterday, I looked out my front door, and this gorgeous butterfly was fluttering around, he finally lit and was still, I had camera in hand and clicked, for onceit was handy. I missed a good shot of our woodpecker the other day not having my camera handy.  I love the wildlife, and photo it every chance I do get.

I am so thankful for all the beauty that God has given us, he paid such detail to every one of his creations, it is just so beautiful, no artist can ever copy the beauty God has put in it. I have seen many paintings, and yet they just cannot get that perfect object like God did. He give it all for us to see, and to enjoy, I am so very thankful for eyes to see all this wonderful beauty, I remember a time I looked through a cloudy lens, and it all was fuzzy, and blurred, but thank God I am have wonderful vision now, and can see every little detail. I am  so thankful for that day he died on the cross for me, he fulfilled every jot and tittle the Father ask of him, What wonderful obedience he has, if only we would obey God as Christ did, just give him our all, and let him lead our days, and live for him. Not worrying about what others may think, or do, but just doing as God ask. He loved me so much he prepared a place in heaven for me to go to when I die. I love John chapter 14, the whole chapter, I am not going to write it all out, but when you have time, ponder on this chapter, and see just how much Jesus really loves us.  He sure deserves our thanks and our praise, I give him my praise today, and everyday as along as I may live.

Have a wonderful Thankful Thursday, and share with us what you are thankful for.

Hugs and prayers, Barbara

It Is A Marvellous Monday

Well here it is Monday, after a long weekend, and being so busy it is time to take it easy today, but, my house looks like a tornado hit it, and I have so much to do I will not get much rest today. Chuck my dear husband, bought a weed eater Friday, and when using it, it caught fire so he has to take it back today and see about getting another one in its place, so that will break up our day too.  Maybe we will eat a bite out today too, I do like eating out, but not sure if we will or not, have to check with the boss.

We had a wonderful day in church yesterday, the preaching was so good, and we are getting to know the folks there, we have a fun mixed SS class, and I am enjoying that, being with my honey is so rare, either he is teaching or I am, so enjoying our time together for now.
We have been praying about joining this church, he really preaches the word, the music is right from the hymnals, the fellowship is so good, and we have gotten to meet some new folks, and even reunite with some we knew. So after much prayer and seeking God's will for our life at this time, We joined First Avenue Baptist Church in Hillard Florida yesterday. I feel better being a member again, and having our own church to worship in, we have been trying so many, and just never felt led to join any of them, but this one is home, we felt like we had come home right off, but wanted to make sure this was where God wanted us, we always want to be in his will, and where he wants us to serve, so I am a happy camper now.
So I hope your weekend was as blessed as mine, and that your Monday will be just Marvellous..
