So much to be thankful for, look at this photo, it is the sun, taken Monday afternoon in Folkston, GA amazing, how bright and red it is, the smoke is affecting the sky and how it appears, this sun, reminds me of that scripture about the moon turning to blood, even though it is not the moon it is just what I picture.
We have had an amazing week, thank you for the prayers for Sunday, my dh preached a powerful sermon, and one boy was saved, it truly blessed our heart to be with our friends from the past, if you missed the other post, we were at the church my husband resigned a few years ago, and it was a real blessings.
Then he was able to preach last night at the church we are attending, it was a blessing too, he had an incredible message from God, and it touched so many hearts. Including mine, made me really take notice, and examine my own heart.
We have had a great week, and looking forward to more days of blessings ahead, I love the lord and how he always blesses our faithfulness, yet it is he in me that makes me do all I want to for him, he sure is awesome, and I sure am thankful for the blessing of salvation, and his hand upon my life all these years, my dh will be 70 in August, and he is still going strong for our Saviour, that is a true blessing to me, knowing him before salvation, and then after, I see the complete change Christ did in his heart and in our life.
Thank you lord, I am happy to be called a Christian, and may I always glorify your name and you in all I do.
I fixed this the other day, it is so delicious, here is my recipe.

I love Being a Woman for the Lord
We spent a long and busy day putting up tomatoes yesterday, but my freezer is full and will last until next year at picking time. It is a wonderful feeling to be able to take care of your family and know your hands have provided food for them all winter, reminds me of the Proverbs woman, if we wonder how we should act and be as Christian women, well Proverbs 31:10-31 tells it all, lets look on it for a few minutes and really let the lord speak to our heart through these scriptures.
10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
13 She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
14 She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
15 She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
16 She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
17 She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
18 She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
19 She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
20 She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
21 She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
22 She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.
23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
24 She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
25 Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.
We see all that makes up a Godly woman who cares for her family, loves them, and how she has a tender heart toward them, and how she cares for them to; making sure they are comfortable and well fed, that their clothes are clean and fresh, that their home if neat and livable, her husband and children do notice how hard she works, they love her and call her blessed, that is the finest compliment any woman can receive that her children call her blessed. That her husband praises her, amen, is this your hearts desire.
