I Am Truly Sorry

It has been a very busy time for me lately, and I have not been on
the computer as I once was, but I have been busy for the lord, and
always he will come first, I pray you understand, and that you
will pray with me that we can do all God has put in our path to do.

We did get to go fishing last Monday, did not catch a thing, and
my husbands motor kept conking out, so we used the trolling
motor to get where we wanted to be in a sloop, but they fish were
not biting then either, so we did not stay a real long time, but quite
honestly it seemed like forever for me, if I am not getting bites, I do
not like to just sit and wait for them to bite, so I was ready to leave
when my husband decided we were not going to catch anything. LOL

It has been a time since I talked about our church and the ministry
there, the bus ministry is doing well, lots of new kids, and many getting
saved and baptized, and that is what it is all about, and seeing them
parents coming to see them baptized is a thrill. I teach the teens, and for
the past couple weeks our Junior girls teacher has been ill, so I have
had them all, this week I do believe it will be back to normal though. We
started a Junior church last Sunday also. It went very well, and run it
just as the regular church, take up and offering, and sing some songs, then
my dh preaches to them, on their level, it was good, and I enjoyed being
with them also. So you see we are busy, have lots of preparations to to
and studying also, love it though.

It has cooled off here (finally) feels so much better, it was a tad chilly infact
when I let my little dog out this morning too, so fall is coming, and I am
loving it. So how is the weather where you are, so many differents areas are
on the blogs that it can be freezing somewhere, while in the 90's elsewhere.
Makes it very interesting though.

Well I must leave for now, hope you all have a marvellous weekend, and that
souls will be saved tomorrow at your churches. God bless you real good, and
keep us in your prayers please.

All Because Of Him, Barbara

The Color Purple

Purple is royalty. A mysterious color, purple is associated with both nobility and spirituality.

The opposites of hot red and cool blue combine to create this intriguing color.
Purple has a special, almost sacred place in nature: lavender, orchid, lilac, and violet flowers are often delicate and considered precious. Because purple is derived from the mixing of a strong warm and strong cool color it has both warm and cool properties.
A purple room can boost a child's imagination or an artist's creativity. Too much purple, like blue, could result in moodiness.
The color of mourning for widows in Thailand, purple was the favorite color of Egypt's Cleopatra.
It has been traditionally associated with royalty in many cultures. Purple robes were worn by royalty and people of authority or high rank. The Purple Heartis a U.S. Military decoration given to soldiers wounded in battle.
No wonder my favorite color is purple, it brings out the royality in me, lol have a wonderful Friday.

We had a wonderful Sonday...WOW lots of children, and we had our first Jr. Church, the boys and girls were really good, and seemed to take away much with them, Praise God to be able to serve the lord, what joy it brings. We had 3 baptized last night too, a whole family of one little girl came, amen...
One that we knew prior, and had been praying for a very long time, like about 13 years, it was so great to see them come in, made my heart just praise God out loud, lol, I can be vocal at times, even though I try to keep it toned down, heehee, I just love the lord and would bust if I did not say praise God, or amen some times. Hope your day was as great as ours, God bless each of you my friends this day.

Thankful Thursday

It has been a great day, my dh took the final test and passed
now he has the hands on test and will have his passengers
license, he can drive any vehicle that hold passengers now,
mostly will be for driving the Church Bus. SO Praise God,
we all are so very blessed, read these few things and see
if you agree, you are truly blessed of God. Amen...

If you woke up this morning with more health than illness, you are more blessed than the million who won't survive the week.

If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation, you are ahead of 20 million people around the world.

If you attend a church meeting without fear of harassment, arrest, torture, or death, you are more blessed than almost three billion people in the world.

If you have food in your refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof over your head and a place to sleep, you are richer than 75% of this world.

If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish someplace, you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy.
If you hold up your head with a smile on your face and are truly thankful, you are blessed because the majority can, but most do not.

If you can read this message, you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world that cannot read anything at all.

You are so blessed in ways you may never even know.

If we tried to count the blessings our loving Heavenly Father bestows upon us daily we would find it an impossible task our blessings are to numerous to count.

How dare we ever complain that we are poor, persecuted, hard done by, or anything else, we have a roof over our heads, a few dollars in the bank, a little money in our purse, hot water for a shower, food in the refrigerator, etc etc. We are the richest 8% in the world, even the poorest of us. We can go to church and worship our awesome God in complete freedom. We have never experienced true persecution in any shape or form. Let us never forget or take it for granted, our Father has blessed us so greatly, we should be forever grateful for all the wonderful blessings that Father pours upon us daily, and we should be constantly thanking Him who has given us so very much.

Now Have a wonderfully blessed evening, and KNOW you are blessed of the blessed.

Labor Day, the first Monday in September,

is a creation of the labor movement and
is dedicated to the social and economic
achievements of American workers. It
constitutes a yearly national tribute to
the contributions workers have made to
the strength, prosperity, and
well-being of our country.

Take rest; a field that has rested gives a
bountiful crop. I hope you have a safe
and happy day, enjoy it, we all work hard
all week, and we need to take time to rest
our bodies, to get ready to work again, even
God rested, do not feel bad about it, just
enjoy your time spent with family and
friends. God bless you and I hope, like
me you will love this day God has given.

Did you ever have any special Labor day
that sticks out in your mind? I do, my
birthday is September 1 and it sometimes
fall on Labor Day, so when this happens
we usually do something really special, I
remember once we took a scenic drive up
to the mountains, it was a wonderful trip,
and one that will stay in my mind forever.

Today is the first day of a new month, and just happens to be my birthday too, it has been a wonderful 68 years, and God has been so very good to me. I have had my ups and downs, but thinking back he sure has had his hand upon me and my life.

I seen it before salvation and I really see it now. God has blessed ,and I can say it is a wonderful and peaceful time, life is good, and God blesses daily, yep, he give breath for another day to sing his praises.

My SS girls bought me a gift in last night, it was so very special being I have only taught them a few weeks, it really made me feel loved. It is the best smelling Twilight woods from Body and Bath, the body spray and lotion, then a great sippy cup that you freeze the thing in the middle to keep it cold, and in red, amen they do know me already, so sweet, it really blessed me.
The pastor and wife had us for dinner last night too after church, because, Chuck preached and he never eats before, she served Quail, wow, never had quail, and really do not care for it, shushhhh don't tell, heehee, so we had a good night,  one little boy was saved too, Chuck had the honor of leading him to the lord. See how God blesses us, I mean just beyond measure he pours it out, what a wonderful life in serving him. Hope you all have a great day, and my dh is baking me a cake, giggles, like I need a cake, come on now and get some. Then I think I want to go to some thrift stores, I got some birthday money too, so burning a hole in my pocket. God has blessed me this day, how about you?

~MARVELLOUS MONDAY~

We had a great weekend, and seen souls saved yesterday too.
Saturday on visitation we had lots of very good visits, but none
that came yesterday. Praying for all those that are visited and hope
that God will get hold of their hearts and bring them in so they may
be saved too, and join our fellowship there.
But today is another day to praise God for his goodness.

Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

Faith now that is a wonderful word, and really involves so much. Like forgiveness, joy, and the other spiritual blessings we have. Faith takes us beyond ourselves, past today, over the bumps of tomorrow, all the way through and beyond life on this earth. When we live in the light of Jesus' resurrection, we are also certain of God's gift of eternal life to us, individually and personally.

Our lord urges us to cultivate the faith he has given us by spending time in his Word, and in prayer. Like the pine tree, which stays green all winter, established faith makes perseverance possible. It gives us a stick-to-it attitude that stubbornly persists.

My prayer, dear lord let all the other spiritual blessing you have worked in my life shine in beauty against the faith you have given, then show me how to share my faith with others, , amen and amen, have a very blessed day.

FINALLY FRIDAY

You know everyone is preparing for something, here along the east coast they are preparing for the hurricane, but have they prepared to meet Jesus, some are so worried about preparing about all the physical things, but no one is concerned where they will spend eternity, this is something that needs to be taken care of, we are not to expect tomorrow, only today, so today is the day of salvation.

I thank God I have prepared, for my home in heaven, it is secured, and promised, no need to work out preparations any more.

I went Thursday and had my hair cut and styled, I am very happy with it, so easy
to care for now, it still looks good today after an evening in the wind.

We had a good time yesterday with my friend, she brought her 89 year old dad with her, so him and brother Chuck had a good visit too, I really enjoyed our time spent.

Then last evening about dusk, we went down to the river, and did some shrimping and fishing, we did not catch any fish, and stayed until after 10 pm, but did catch more shrimp, we are about set for our fishing bait now, and when they get bigger we will get them for the table, my dh loves shrimp, me not so much ,I do love using them for bait though, seems almost anything will bite at them. But not last night, not even a nibble, not sure why, we had incoming tides and then outgoing tides, so just not sure. But any how, we had a good time of sweet fellowship and togetherness, it was so quiet and serene listening to the waves slap the dock, and the breeze blowing, just a good night.

Hope you have a very blessed weekend, and I am so happy that Jesus is passing by here, instead of Irene, his smile on us once again is so worth our praise.

Trusting Tuesday

Every successful person has a painful story.

Every painful story has a successful ending.
Accept the pain and get ready for success.

2 Samuel 22:3 "The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.
Psalm 9:10 "And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee."
Psalm 25:20 "O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee."

There are over 74 verses that have trust in them, and many others that have trusted, trusting, in them, God put a great deal of importance in trusting him, I know now,
and it has not always been so, but, as you mature as a Christian, God shows you
things, and you learn and grow in his grace, I have learned through the years to
trust the lord with my life, ever part of my life, not just some areas, but all areas.
Once I learned that he is so much more capable to care for me than I am, then I
did not have trouble placing my trust in God.
He is such an awesome father, he loves me so very much, he cares for me just
like I was an only child, you have heard that song and I just love it. It is true too.
This has been some busy times, and I have been on the go so much, and had
very little time to devote to my blog, but I do hope it will change, and I can get
back to writing often, and sharing my experiences with all of you.
May we all put Christ first in our life, and let him lead our walk daily, and always
tell some one we pass by, about what Jesus did for us. God bless you my friends
this wonderful day in August, and may the end of August bring many blessings.
