Here I am thinking that I need to loose weight!
I went to a ladies' tea where everyone brought a tea cup. The tea cups where brought in beforehand and placed at each place anonymously. Before the tea, each lady stood up and showed her cup (which she was to keep.) The ladies who brought that particular tea cup, made a note of who possessed it and she became her secret prayer partner for the year. I always liked that idea and might do it one day with the ladies of our future church.
That sounds good, Barbara!
Julie that is great sounds like something fun, and that most churches can do. Thanks for sharing your tea cup story with us.
