RESURRECTION SUNDAY, MAY GOD BLESS YOU

We had a wonderful day this Resurrection Day, from SS to the final service at 2 pm. The singing the preaching all it was wonderful, the food was exceptional, I just love Christian fellowship, and praise God because of what Jesus did all those years ago, we can worship him, and have a great time with folks of like faith.
Our pastor preached out of Matthew 28 today, his theme was looking, lingering, and lasting.
Oh what a good message it was too. Such great points he brought out, about the how the women and the men reacted, and how much I learned today, gleaning from his message.
Oh that I never get too old to learn, or ever think I do not need to learn, my earnest prayer is that God will always give me a teachable spirit. I do not think any of have arrived at perfection, and none of us live the faith we believe ever second of every day. Shame on us, I know, we could, we should, but if being honest we do not, and we all fall so very short of his glory.
What a wonderful testimony Christ left for this world, and the wonderful truths he shared in his holy Bible.
I hope you praised him to the max, and really worshipped him in Spirit and truth.
God bless you and the song that sticks in my heart today is He Lives...

I came across your blog when looking at the comments left on http://ahighandnoblecalling.com/
How good to meet like-minded bloggers and be edified by each other! Thanks for your Ressurection Sunday post- and also the one you wrote on Friday. I keep humming the words "You ask me how I know He lives? He lives within my heart!"

Oh I love these posts and to see how Christ blessed so many dear folks, those that truly believe and are excited today because of Him, were blessed, and what a wonderful knowledge that we will spend eternity together, and with that same blessed Saviour that saved our wretched souls.
I was saved in July of 1974 and it seems like yesterday, I will forever praise his name.

I love Christian fellowship too. I was stupid enough to not go to church yesterday, thinking I had so much to do and to finish my exam. I think going to church probably would have made me feel better about everything. I'm glad you had a good blessed Sunday! I'm praising God with you!
