Magnificent Monday

Well  I am thinking on old times, and new times, and wondering what to write about today on my blog.
Have you ever seen and read this book, it is an amazing book, so filled with love, if you have never read it, find a copy and do read it. It truly blessed my heart, and the saying is forever..
I'll Love you Forever
I'll Like you for always
As long as I'm living
My baby you'll be
It really sees a mother and the life long love she has for her child. When the mother got older, One day she called up her son and said, You'd better come see me because I'm very sick  and old.
Her son same and when he came in the door she tried to sing the song:
I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always...
But she just could not finish because she was too sick.
So the son went to his mother, picked her up in his arms
and rocked her back and forth, and he sang this song;
I'll love you forever
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living
My Mommy you'll be.
It is so touching, I just loved it the first time I read it, and it still brings tears to my eyes. Yes such a bond between mother and child, nothing can ever break it. Okay enough sentimental thinking for now, back to reality.

We had a wonderful weekend, and oh my we picked 7 gallons of Blueberries, they are so delicious too, just amazes me how God has planted all these wonderful berries for our enjoyment.  We bagged them and got them in the freezer, so I should have enough to last all year.
Now Lookie here at all we picked, not complete with photos.

Hope you all have a wonderful Magnificent Monday, God bless you and keep you. Lots of hugs Barbara♥

Hi there, I love this book and have had it since my girls were very little-which is around 20+ yrs. Now I read it to my grands.
Blueberries-wow what alot. I love them and never tire of them. I don't have any bushes though so I'm a bit green with envy-not really but would love to have more than I get at the supermarket.
Blessings to you today.

We should have a lot of blueberries this year too, though ours aren't ready to pick until around the end of June or first of July.

Renee I bought my black tights at Wal Mart, in the hose section, they are about 5.00 a pair but are real thick and good for winter. Hugs to all and thanks for stopping by, if you were close we could have party, a blueberry party.

Wow..I crown you the blueberry queen. We actually have a blue berry festival in Montrose Michigan in June or July. I bet you and your husband are also very smart...because the blueberry is also good for the brain.:) I have never read this book, but I would love to get my hands on one to give to my adult kids with a box of kleenex,:)

I gave a copy of that book to my children more than twenty years ago. It is one of the best. I need to find copies now for my grandchildren to read to their children, too. Thanks for the reminder.

By the way, I'm sure you can't eat all of those yourself -- want to share with Texas?

I sing the song from this book to our 3 grandchildren (our JEMs; Jack, Eli and Maya) when I get a chance to tuck them into bed and say our prayers together.

Oh, the blueberries look wonderful! Such a gift from God, our great Provider!
Blessings and joy,
Laurie

You guys are ahead of us on the blueberries. My Dad's bushes aren't ready yet. Can't wait to pick and freeze. I love having them to use for cooking during the year. And that book is amazing, but it brings a tear to my eyes. My sweet friend lost her 17 year old son and she buried him with that book as it was a favorite of theirs. So sad!!! We miss that precious young man! Have a wonderful week. Love & blessings from NC!

Absolutely LOVE this book! I bought it for my eldest son & read it to him often when he was young. Now, when he visits home (he's 26 and lives out of state), he always sits down with me to read it while tears fall down BOTH our faces.
