Simple Joys Saturday

This is us enjoying our meal at Panera Bread yesterday, Chuck got a gift card for Fathers Day, and we went yesterday for an early dinner. We stopped by the big Sporting store, Gander Mountain and then Bed, Bath and Beyond, then went and ate, we had a very fun outing.
Of course we went to Jacksonville, around the Air Port area, they have this new Giant mall, it is like entering a city. Lots to see, everything you would ever need, and it is only about a half hour drive for us. We were so happy to see it put there. Today is visitation, and not sure what is on the agenda after, but I know something good will pop up.  We also stopped and bought this Huge muffin called Cobblestone, oh my it was good with coffee this morning,  tasted kinda like an Ugly, if you know what that is, or some call them Elephant ears, heehee, good indeed.

The flower is growing wild in our area, not sure what it is called, but it is so pretty, and it looks feathery from a far off, we stopped and I got out and got this really close up of it, but here is one from a distance too.

So that about does it for today, I hope you have a wonderful weekend, and go to worship the lord tomorrow, lots of hugs for you my friends, and of course a scripture to lift up the name of Jesus.
God is just so good, all the time, and keeps pouring out his blessings on us, we are so undeserving too, it makes it so much more special too, hugs.

Colossians 3:23 "And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;"

Good Morning, Boy does that lunch look good. I have never eaten at Panera Bread before but I must go soon! That's a pretty flower but I have no idea what it is. I hope you enjoy the whole weekend through.

Hi Southern-sister! Your meal at Panera Bread looks deelish - it's been a little while since I've eaten there, and they're all over the place here in KY. The flower is very pretty, and I have no idea what it is either. And thanks so much for your encouraging Bible verse for today. I enjoy your posts, they're always so uplifting to me. Take care, from KY.

Hi Barbara, I have never been to Panera, they are probably just in larger cities! Interesting flower, I am not sure what it is,but I like them all even the weeds. Thanks always for your encouraging comments:)

Hi Barbara, Didn't know you were QUITE that close to Jacksonville. That's neat that they put that huge mall in so close to you...

I used to live in the south part of Jacksonville (late '70's-early '80's)... We were in the San Jose area --north of Mandarin.

I love Panera Bread --but haven't eaten there but once or twice. There's not one close to us. Knoxville has a huge Gander Mtn. I've been there once I think...

Have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs,
Betsy

Yes we had a great time, and then last night went to a teen fellowship such fun, I say I much rather be with young folks, they talk about more exciting things, where the older ones talk about medicine and such, heehee, had a good time, and such sweet Spirit too, hope your day is a really blessed one. Happy Sonday

Lovely to share your day there. We don't have that restaurant group.
Be interesting to hear what the flower is, when you find out.
It took me a while to find the post on the Simple Joys Saturday site, the next one will be number 8.
Love and Blessings
