A few flicks from the races in Daytona yesterday, hubby took. My son likes the Petty's and my husband like Joey Lagano.
Chuck had a wonderful time yesterday, took about 200 photos with drivers, and the place, and all the excitement there, he and Jim had a good time, he looks like a walking advertisement for Home Depot, Jim bought him a shirt and hat with the Home Depot car, Joey Logano # 20 is the driver he like, I like one called Go Daddy, Mark Martin #5 it is a green car, I call my green apple, lol it is fun, I am not into it like my son, but I did enjoy watching it yesterday.
I am feeling good once again, yeah, thank you lord, it was a very long battle, and it feels good to feel good.
I made lasagna yesterday, did not have mozzarella cheese so used the fine shredded Cheddar, it was different but very good. I also made blueberry/oatmeal and oatmeal/raisin cookies, no bread again.
I stripped beds and washed them and did 2 other loads of laundry, so stayed busy most of the day. Honey came in about 11:30 safe a one tired man, it was a good day, for us all, and I thank the Lord for that, now what is going on in your world, I have monopolized this conversation, heehee sorry, must be feeling better, even my fingers are busy.
Not doing too much today, did a little yard clipping and picking up, other than that not much.
Hope your day is blessed, Barbara

i am tired just reading about all that work you did. hubby is watchig all the racing stuff, i stay out of the living room. i did watch the one hour show called The Day about Dale Earnhart, we both ended up in tears watching all the drivers cry. today is 10 years since he died at Daytona
Yes we watched that special, it was very touching, he was well loved, my son has been an avid fan for years, my husband is just not getting into it, I too enjoy it, I watched it off an on all day yesterday while he was there, thought I may see him, lol Hugs
Barbara, I am so glad you are finally feeling better. I know you have had a bad winter but you are sounding your old self again.
I am having a time holding Silas down. He spends most of his time outside and with the sun shining makes him want to work outside. He has been having a few walks and trying to get his energy back. He goes back to the doctor Monday.
The rain has finally stopped. I found my first wild violet today so spring is on the way. Yeh!
Wow, 79 degrees is very warm! I'm thinking 50 was like a sauna after the cold we've experienced. Of course, tomorrow we are back in the 30s. Oh well, spring is coming soon!
Great to hear you are having some beautiful weather, and that you are feeling so well, your exuberance shines through.
Those races are all foreign to me though...LOL
Hugs and Blessings,
Jan
