Well Praise God, it is Friday, the end of the work week, the beginning of the weekend.
Friends are such an important part of our life, it is wonderful to have a close friend to be able to talk to, and to share with, be encouraged by, that is what a friend is all about. We should never take our friendships for granted, God places them in our life to help us daily, there were times when I think I would down and never come back up if it had not been for my friends. There is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother too, that is my best friend, Jesus, he is always there and he is always looking out for my best interest. Do you know him as your Friend? He is just a prayer away, accepted him as your own personal Saviour, and he will become your friend instantly.
I have chosen this day to start a Friendship Friday, I would love for you to join me, and to participate in this day, what I am going to do, is, pick one person to send an email, or an e-card to, let them know you are praying for them, you love them, and you think they are very important to you and in your life. Great idea! My personality gets so caught up with the here and now. I have to battle the old "out of sight out of mind" way of thinking. This would be a great way to set a time aside to remember friends. Have a great evening.
I agree with you that friendships should never be taken for granted. I had a grand time with my best friend yesterday. We have been friends for 48 years. I do have a few other long term friendships and a few new ones. I am going to take time today with the inspiration of your blog and give them a call or send ane-mail. :-)
