(Sharing Saturday)

What was your favorite nursery rhyme when you were young, or favorite little diddy. I love this one, and found the photo of it today, so thought I would share with you all, if you have one, please feel free to share yours too. Hugs all my blogger friends.

Itsy Bitsy Spider

The itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout.
Down came the rain, and washed the spider out.
Up came the sun, and dried up all the rain,
and the itsy bitsy spider went up the spout again.

"Itsy Bitsy Spider" (also known as "Incy Wincy Spider" or "Eency Weency Spider") is a popular nursery rhyme that describes the adventures of a spider as it ascends, descends and reascends the downspout or "waterspout" of a gutter system

(or, alternatively, the spout of a teapot). It is usually accompanied by a sequence of gestures that mimic the words of the song. All these old Nursery Rhymes make me think where the minds where of those who created them, lol..Most did not even make sense, but guess that is what kids like, I know I did.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend, I am starting to feel some what better, and will stay out of the rain here. Lots of love for your day.

This is the second stroll down long ago memory lanes I've taken today. And it ended up giving me another blog topic.

As one of my favorites used to close, "Thanks for the memories!!"

May you continue to heal and grow with Him in virtue and grace.

This is an adorable post and sweet walk down memory lane. What I remember most is getting to go with my dad to the store. Just the two of us and in the car we would sing, "You Are My Sunshine" at the top of our lungs.
